Little Victory Wine Bar

It's taken me far too long to make my way to Little Victory. I had such confidence in them based on their previous wine shop in Encinitas, but the team truly exceeded my already high expectations. Congratulations to Jeremy and the rest of the team. We will be back again and again.

Great wine bar with a relaxed vibe, but an elevated food experience. The wine was excellent and the mussels were truly amazing and a very generous portion. Plus, the service was warm and friendly yet very professional. A great addition to downtown Carlsbad.

My favorite restaurant in San Diego County. Always a pleasure to dine here. Seasonally driven, creative, and delicious food prepared thoughtfully. The service is warm and welcoming. We travel from San Diego to dine here and it is always worth the trip.

Lovely, simply lovely. The food was spectacular and the wines and cider we enjoyed were unexpected and unique. And the Basque cheesecake is spectacular. Service was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Cozy atmosphere we look forward to returning to!

Every visit here is an outstanding experience and well worth the drive we take from San Diego. Everything is lovely here — the space, the service, the wine list and guidance — but above all the food is perfectly, lovingly crafted, creative without seeking novelty, genuinely locally sourced and the menu changed seasonally. Highest possible recommendation!

Our experience was great. Every dish was an amazing surprise with a mix of flavors that we would never imagen how well they work together. Servers are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is just a personal preference and won't stop us from going back, but I wish they had more options on wine by the glass.

Service was slow and sluggish. The server did not understand wine and unfortunately sold us a bottle that did not meet her descriptions. Ambiance is great. Menu is narrow w only one cheese choice and a wine bar!

We both ordered the fresh catch, a black cod. Delightful! We shared an order of roasted beets which my husband liked as much as I did.
Don’t mean to show favoritism but their Basque cheesecake was the star of the show! We shared it and couldn’t believe how creamy the texture was! Delicious!
Appreciate the advice our wait staff gave us on wines. We found the “skin contact” wine a perfect pairing w our entree. They paired a nice chilled red blend wine to go with our dessert. Check out “little victory” wine bar! (Note to single men in the area—this place draws very pretty ladies!).

Saw in SD Magazine and realized that the same chefs that we missed when Vino Carta in Solana beach closed joint opened this place, we were sold...and the food did not disappoint!! Amazing quality of food, great attentive service, wonderfully quaint atmosphere and a large selection of natural wines! We will be coming back for more!!

The staff is amazing. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Great indoor and outdoor space! Enticing wine selections. The menu has veggie and proteins that pair well with the wines. It's a gem in Carlsbad!
