I didn't care for the taste of my cauliflower taco ?. However! that's on me. I gave a 5 star ?? ? ? ? because it deserves it..
The creativity and presentation is splendid! The service is interactive, the location offers lots of inside and outside options. The other dish we ordered was the carnitas taco.. Which I heard was yummy. We also had this corn ? side dish which again is absolutely decadent.. They offer two options for mocktails and good Margaritas too.

I had the privilege of meeting with the owner last night and let me tell you, he's a very nice person. I was curious about the name of the restaurant and he was more than willing to take time to come to our table and explain the Lola 55 story. It was lovely. This is the more 'counter style' location for Lola 55 and it's in Carlsbad. The atmosphere was a little lacking - very upscale food court-y.

The place is infant friendly, which was very important for us. High chairs are available and there's plenty of parking.

The ordering process is intuitive. The food was good but aside from the Baja fish tacos and the cauliflower ones, nothing stood out (chicken and steak were alright,...
