Lucha Libre Taco Shop

They serve the side dishes for to-go order in plastic cups. The plastic flavor leeches into the food. The main dish was pretty good, but the sides were inedible.

Same as the one downtown.

Been coming here since they opened. Was the best food in town, but seems they are saving money now. Tons of fries in a burrito is not how it's done. Last night, ordered b&c burrito, had a massive tortilla, with almost no beans andbarely any cheese if any. It was ALL tortilla. Like most places, cutting costs, thinking their rep will keep em coming back. NI CHANCE.

Great place if you like Mexican Food and Pucha Libre. They serve food on frisbees! Not a place if you looking for a deal, stick to random 'Bertos for that.

Pretty pricy for mexican food. But it was not bad and I'll be coming back later.

Lucha Libre was one of my first burrito experiences in San Diego, holding one of my fondest Mexican cuisine experiences. I was ecstatic to see it in Carlsbad. I ordered the winning burrito, and it arrived in my table within ten minutes. The first bite marked the disappointment for the remainder of the night. So much tortilla. So little flavor. It took all the sauce in the condiment area to make this digestible. The taco suffered from the same issue. Tortilla so chewy. How does one of the most successful restaurants in SD fall so far from the tree?

Wow - this place really surprised me. Was not expecting to have such a great meal. Food is high quality, and service is also fantastic! (Shout out to Diego for helping me order the right stuff!)

I had the Birria Taco. It was very good and we upgraded to make a meal that included two sides and a drink. They serve taco chips which are very good, too. Good gluten free options. Very casual but the food is top-notch. Try the sauces/salsas!

Really awesome burritos. The decorations are great staff is really nice. Very reasonable for such a fun environment with great food.

My first time here. The Surfin California Burrito was amazing!! They have merchandise for sale as well, like pins.

Delicious place. They have good chips and delicious veggie tacos. The staff are cool people especially Diego.

Totally unique and fun decor and atmosphere. Friendly staff, delicious food. It's not cheap, and it's not supposed to be!

Come for the burritos, stay for the glorious selection of delicious variety of salsas. Decor and movies are a plus but I could seriously eat these burritos in an empty warehouse on a milk carton in the dark and still give it this rating.

I come to this outstanding restaurant once a month because I enjoy the good air that is outline this place. The crew is extremely loving and qualified. The service is absolutely efficient. Needless to say, the food you eat is first-rate. I ate there more than once and I was always pleased. The rate is fair. I highly suggest this place to my friends and family.
