We wanted some good Mexican food after Legoland and found this hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious and hot. The cashier was very nice and welcoming. My kids loved their food which is a plus for me. I had the carne asada nachos. The chips were nice and crispy, plenty of toppings, and generous on the meat. The horchata was awesome. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Oceanside.

I don't get it sometimes. Your there to order food. For here to go whatever. What's with the green sauce anyways? After placing my order, I see the cashier gives out more than 2 sauce cups to other customers. Why is that? Is it because the cashier knows them. I'm a regular customer. I'm not any different. Before the cashier would ask how many cups. It's not like I'm stealing. How many customers have been dealing or treated differently at this place of eats?

Wonderful customer service and the food is delicious. My husband had a carne asada burrito that was very large and the meat was so lean, tender and tasty. I had a chicken tostada in which the chicken had the best flavor! You know how sometimes you get Mexican food and there is no flavor added to the meat? Not here!!!

Quick take out service (5 minutes) on a Tues at 7:30pm. Excellent crispy beef tacos, really good. Crunchy, rich, and savory. Spicy salsas from the self-serve bar are tasty with a lot of zing. Carne asada burrito weighed in at 22oz! Nice. Enchiladas are just fantastic - very large and stuffed with shredded beef, green bell pepper, tomato, onion, and jalapeno. Wow.

The México viejo Taco shop. Locate in Carlsbad California Has really bad customer service. Food is not too good, the Chile relleno is terrible. I ordered roll tacos with guacamole, and they gave me roll tacos with sourcream. I asked them to change my tacos with guacamole, the refuse to. Not recommend this place .
