Panera Bread

Very bleh experience. They got my order wrong in multiple ways then when I asked for cream cheese on my bagel they said I had to go back to re-order and pay for it. Seems petty to me.

This review is not to reflect on the employees as they were perfectly fine. I will start by saying I haven’t been inside a Panera for years. It is absolutely ridiculous how minimal the human interaction is. I have to take my own order, or wait for an employee because there is not enough staff and I have to bus my own table yet the quality consistently declines and prices rise. On top of that, the food is barely passing as warm. The workers are doing the best they can with a full restaurant, minimal staff and minimum wage.

Stopped in for some chocolate chipper cookies at the Panera in The Shoppes at Carlsbad. Always a favorite bakery item. Was a super nice and clean location with nice self service ordering. Lots of indoor and dog friendly outdoor seating. Fast wait time and friendly service. Recommend!

Dirtiest Panera I have ever encountered.

I go to this location a lot along with the Vista and San Marcos locations. The big issue is the homeless sitting in the outdoor seating out front especially a father and son the past two months who sit at the same table around the clock. Another older guy and a lady switch off looking after their huge grey Marmaduke dog brining the dog into the bathroom and in the restaurant for a few minutes. There is another homeless guy that sits in the back corner and constantly talks to himself laughing and carrying on a conversation. There are other homeless with rolling small suitcases they come in and sit and use the bathroom. One guy has smoked marijuana out front in the past. I do not see this at any other locations but this one. Corporate said managers would need to do something about this. I feel really bad for these homeless people but not really good for paying customers to constantly have this going on.

I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews describing service but I've gone probably 10 times recently to use as a study space and I've been fortunate to have gotten good service I suppose? The employees seem busy but they're friendly and helpful, even when I tried to redeem a faulty gift card they were patient. However I do think they're pricey, especially for the small servings. I would come here a lot more if the prices weren't so inflated.

Poor service. Used the kiosk and went to pay and it went back to home screen. The manager really did not care. We suggested they put up an out of order sign. Of course they didn't so the next person will have the same problem

The waiter was quite nice, but got our order wrong and charged us extra. He seemed to not know what he was doing and was very slow. I had a brownie, which was surprisingly nice, also the reason why this is 3 stars and not 2, Lattes weren't that great and not extra
