What an unfortunate thing. This is the second time I've gone to this establishment and received rotten food. The first time, the salad on the bottom was filled with rotten lettuce and was covered with fresh to make it look fresh. This second experience, another salad - this time the veggies were fresh, the fruit was fresh... but the chicken on the salad was spoiled. Sour tasting. It literally made me sick at my desk at work. It was horrible. What's more disappointing is the fact that a representative from Panera Bread contacted me (Dennis Tayag) and was nice enough to offer me "$2 off my next meal" . Ha. I appreciate the gesture, however; I will respectfully decline. I will no longer be visiting this establishment, nor any other Panera Bread due to their lack of customer service and lack of willingness to take responsibility of their failure. I hope this review helps others.
Very happy to see that they have added a lot of new items on the menu, esp for lunch. Price is reasonable. Excellent service and atmosphere.

You can charge $5.29 for a chocolate croissant but when you point me to the microwave to heat it up myself is when I take my time to give a bed review. On top of that the food was not up to or in this location.I usually go to the Kearny Mesa location in San Diego and they are much better.

I don't get why people love this place, you walk in and it looks closed and abandoned. Chairs everywhere, none of the tables are clean, gotta clean your own table. For a place that charges as much as they do for such small food item you would think it would be a little nicer. The food is fine but again vastly overpriced for what it is. The system to get your food with a pager doesn't work when there are no pagers and your food sits in the window growing cold because no one can call out your name like they say they will when there are no pagers.

I I have been vegetarian from an early age and always get the baja bowl at Panera. This time, I had eaten almost one third on my meal when I came across 3 or 4 pieces of chicken. Chicken costs extra to add and was not on my receipt. My meal should not have contained chicken, and it is strange that the chicken was buried at the bottom of the bowl. I took my plate and showed it to a staff member who said that they would make a new one. A replacement was brought out in less than 2 minutes, and it looked as though they had just removed the chicken and sprinkled on some fresh toppings. No one ever apologized. I didn't want to eat it. I won't return to a Panera again as a result of the experience.

I used to love this place.. Very expensive. Dirty bathrooms. What is it w restaurants now w dirty bathrooms. Unacceptable. I'm fed up w high cost of going out to eat and bad service, lazy employees, dirty facilities. I ordered a small Mac n cheese to go and they only filled the cup half way. I paid over 7 bucks for two bites of food. Everything is a rip off. Time to eat at home only.

Good food, nice environment, and working Wi-Fi (using it right now). Feel comfortable here.
Parking: In a busy shopping center. Parking can be challenging to find at times.

Made an order with the app, but the person at the counter couldn't find the mobile order. She had to get a manager to assist. The android app needs some work to eliminate the bugs. Starbucks is so much better than Panera. The coffee is awful I bought the sip membership but definitely won't renew as the coffee at McDonald's is much better in taste and value.

Skimflation has hit Panera Bread. I ordered the almond sandwich and soup based on the picture at the self serve ordering station. The picture shows the chicken salad stacked high and delicious. When I ft the sandwich they had put an ice cream scoop of chicken almond on the sandwich. It didn’t even cover the bread. So Panera please update your pictures to truly represent the portions you are actually putting on your sandwiches. It is false advertising.

I don’t ever like to leave nasty reviews at places, but I have come here a few times and almost every experience was pretty bad. It was quite comical. I wish I could give the service a zero because you guys have some REALLY rude employees, especially one older woman who was rude to my son. The teenage workers were fine. I would recommend staying away from this location and I don’t think i’ll come back. Food was fast though!

Great local place I've always enjoyed. Recently with portion sizes decreasing everywhere, for me, it is unacceptable to serve a 1/2 portion salad (with soggy lettuce to boot) the size that would fit in a dessert bowl and small drink for $15.00!

Not recommended for those who pursue taste. It might be good for those who want anything at a cheap price.
