Parakeet Café is outstanding. The food is fresh, clean, and dialed in—no fluff, just quality ingredients done right. Coffee is top-tier, service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is relaxed but polished. It’s the kind of place you can hit for a quick bite or settle in and enjoy your time. Consistently solid. Highly recommend.

This place is setting an example to which others should aspire, it’s about the SOURCE and QUALITY of the ingredients 👏 Lily and crew are phenomenal! Only feedback is the burger is not even close to living up to its name, buns should not be dried out and it needs some love all around, def step up the burger game lmk if you need pointers….also important people know that you actually use 2 different types of salmon that are very different in quality and you get shafted on portion when you order the high quality salmon. The Poke bowl is about as well crafted for your health as anything you will find at any restaurant, ultra clean and optimal omnivore food, thank you!

Why 3 stars overall even though the food and service are good? I truly don't understand the high mark-up in price ($18 dollars for Crunchy Chinese Salad, which, let's be honest, is high anyway for a salad) to 21.75 on DoorDash when there's no extra work on Parakeet's part. In fact, theoretically less. Make the food. Have it ready. Things you're already doing. Someone else (DoorDash) does the rest. AND it helps increase your business. I mean, the salad is good, but not almost-22-dollars-plus-extra-fees good.

As with the Del Mar location, the decor of the café/ restaurant is very cute and Instagram- able. The food was fresh, however the portion size was rather small. My salmon toast came on a slice of sourdough and 1 thin piece of smoked salmon. Very disappointing for $18. Not a place to go if you are hungry.

Great local addition to Carlsbad. We love their pastries and breakfast dishes and my daughter says the lemonade is excellent. Pricey so better for the occasional treat.

It was a delicious breakfast. We had the salmon and eggs, and egg sandwiches, along with an iced matcha latte, and everything was so good! I highly recommend this restaurant for a decision breakfast.Patty provided such a great service and she was very polite and friendly.

The service was fast, the food and coffee were delicious, and their positive energy really made the visit special. You can tell they truly care about their guests. I've been wanted to try this place for a while, I'm glad.I finally did. Very cute, lovely vibe and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Paty was very welcoming when we entered and Aida helped me with all the menu options.

We ordered the Shakshuka and chilaquiles! Great options!! We will be back!

Very bad atmosphere unfortunately because the food is good, although very overpriced. There were many bees on the inside of the store and they were flying around and crawling on my glass. At first I just moved seats, but that didn’t help so eventually I had to leave. The service was just ok, but there was no bus station to put my dirty dishes, I asked them what to do and they said I just leave them on my table and they will clear it. Which was fine, but I wanted to remove it so I had room to use my computer, so I had to wait for them to come and take my plates.
