Great place to try!!

In kind of a weird spot to find, but maybe that's just me! I'm bad with directions! Super sweet lady who I believe owns the place. The sandwiches are amazing. Ready within 10mins of placing the order on the phone. Highly recommend for your next lunch spot!

My wife just brought me a sandwich. Turkey, lettuce, tomato. Really skimpy on the turkey. Too many other options available nearby where you can actually find the meat.

I've eaten here twice and it's been great. Delicious, fresh food that tastes like your grandmother made it.

Sadly this once upon a time great deli has completely degraded after being sold. The new owners downgraded the quality and quantity of the food while also raising the prices. Any and all complaints are also met with equal dissatisfaction. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO EAT ANY LONGER!

Excellent customer service! The food is delicious. I've gone 2 times and I'm very happy with the food and the service.

I thought this place was a little better than its overall review. I ordered the Sicilian connection sandwich with a side of potato salad and peperoncino. The bread had just the right amount of flakiness, still staying together and not making a mess. The Italian dressing had a nice tang, as did macaroni salad.

What do you want for lunch? Pickle's! They have salads, wraps, soup and sandwiches. The variety and freshness of the sandwiches is top notch.

I showed up around 1pm to grab some lunch and oddly the place was completely empty. When asking if any of the vegetarian sandwiches could be made vegan I was told there's no vegan options. Many vegetarian items looked vegan from the ingredients, yet the lady kept insisting there's no vegan options but also that all ingredients were shown on the menu. After a few minutes of getting nowhere, I assumed she might not know what vegan is. It happens and that's ok. I went with an avocado sandwich, got a number, and was told to wait. A few minutes later the sandwich was done and I was asked if I'd like pickles. The place is called Pickle's so I couldn't turn that down. The lady reached into a bucket with a single, wet pickle left, grabbed it with her bare hands, and chucked it into the bag. I was expecting her to lick her fingers afterwards, but I missed that part.

I am a big supporter of local businesses like these and this place fits the bill. It is a decent place to stop by for a quick bite and lunch , but do not expect lot top notch flavors. I tried their vegetarian lentil rice plate with salad and while it was decently filling it lacked the flavor I expected and also I could not see the rice that much ! Additionally, I found it to be very dry , it needed some sauce with the lentils. The cucumber salad was good. My friend tried their vegetarian sandwich and a soup. Both were ok . One thing that is a plus is that they have many vegetarian and vegan options. I will be back when in need of a quick bite, but not that often !

Pickle's is a quaint little deli shop. It's never really busy as I don't think many people know of this place. While I'm not a huge fan of deli meats and cold sandwiches in general, I have enjoyed every meal I've had from Pickle's. The Italian Sub Delight is pretty good and their chef salad is actually one of the best I've had. I keep coming back just for their salad! Their portions are also huge - definitely get more than what you pay for! Service is always friendly and ready to help. I think the main reason I like Pickle's so much is because it's a small shop... It's not a popular restaurant and I don't think it's a typical first choice for anyone to be honest - it definitely wasn't mine! But on those busy days at work when I just want to grab a quick bite to eat or a salad to go, Pickle's is definitely the place for that. The food's good and there isn't a long wait. There's definitely a lot of potential. I'll keep coming back here until it's no longer the quiet little neighborhood deli shop.

Not my first choice for a sandwich.... I make it by less and less as time goes on. Whew i can remember 20 years ago. Before I had all these better options in town! Maybe 2.5 stars? Doesnt round up to 3 in my book. Tip: don't go out of your way to come here, possibly the most boring food possible.

Really like this place, a little tucked away from the Carlsbad Research Park, the cafe has a large menu with some delicious sandwiches all made fresh. But noisy but the small business is wholesome and genuine.
