Pizza Port Carlsbad

We LOVE Pizza Port. Regularly we go to the one in Solana Beach and love it. Love their pizza and beer. We decided to go to the Carlsbad location and we were so sad and disappointed that my son had his $80 Yankees hoodie on and we went there to watch the World Series (Yankees Dodgers game 1) and his hoodie got ruined. They had stained their wood arm rails etc and my son leaned up and it dyed his hoodie brown in SEVERAL areas, all over the hood, arms and back areas. There were no wet paint signs or anything. They offered to give us a gift card and seemed interested and apologetic. It just sucks ? we still love their food and beer but very disappointed in the negligence.

October 13th 2024 6:44pm picked up pizza asked if it had onions in it. Lady packing boxes (had gloves) pulled apart the pizza in front of us to show us there were no onions in the pizza. Then asked if we wanted to watch them make us a brand new one to make sure.

The pizza isn't as good as it used to be. Service is always good, beer is great. I wish I could be more specific when delivering feedback that accompanies a rating, but it really was just that the pizza was a bummer. It was over cooked, little cheese, and dry; we didn't even finish ours. I won't not be back but it might be a while. ?

Honestly the pizza was just ok. I would not go here again. $25 for a large pizza and just ok. We tried 3 different pizzas and they just weren’t that good. We also got wings and they were excellent.

Sat at the bar so apparently you’re required to get sauces and dressings from the pizzaiolo yourself.
Tried a bite of my friends pepperoni pizza and it was SO TASTY! I had Port Salad with chicken which was huge and delicious but had to ask for 5 extra dressings (to go).
…but the MUSIC!!!!
I can’t believe I didn’t see any reviews on the awesome music they play here. I heard 52 Girls by B52’s, some super old Rush off Caress of Steel or Fly By Night, TSOL I think (or She wants Revenge?) it was a killer KILLER selection of music being played.

these guys forgot how to make a pizza they used to be soooo good but the decrease in quality is horrible, great ingredients but super uneven dough, huge pockets of sauce and like 1/3 of the pizza had cheese on it. also so greasy it was basically inedible. This used to be my favorite pizza in the world, now I can’t imagine ever going back. homemade root beer is good at least

Food is always delicious! Pizza. Wings and salad...it does get busy, but it is a large place to have a seat inside or outside. Always a good experience

This place never disappoints! Great stop if you’re in Carlsbad and try their local brews alongside some of the most fresh pizza out of the oven in all of San Diego.

The vents coveted around, and hanging lights, walls covered with debris and dust, the establishment really needed to focus on cleanliness. Dirt establishment harmful consumers. Need to be investigated by the health department.

Hands down best pizza I’ve ever had! Delicious thick but somehow, light and crispy dough! Just….yummmmmmm!!

Been to many great pizza places in my life. Popped in this past Saturday evening at 8:30pm. About 60% capacity. Wait time for a PIZZA 1.5hrs? Wow. Walked out
Never had to wait that long…..
