Delicious fresh made assorted pastries. They also have great, fresh sandwiches for a quick lunch, along with their Prager Bros pizza shop next door. The staff is super friendly and fast. Often have live music on weekend mornings. 10/10 love Prager Bros!

Absolutely amazing bread and pastries! I recently discovered this place and have been going there every few days ever since. The staff is really nice too! Perfect place to have coffee and freshly baked pastries to start your day. Trust me! You won't regret it!

Something has drastically changed at Prager Bros. The quality is not what it was. Has ownership changed or new bakers? We were buying Raisin/ Walnut bread every Sunday but the last few weeks it has been burnt and didn’t taste fresh at all. Sad to see because we loved going there.

Bread is so good and healthy I usually get sick when I eat store bought bread but I didn’t have any symptoms from their bread

When you want to order by phone or make a special order, this store in Carlsbad never answers the phone. It happened to us and coincidentally another customer confirmed my complaint when I told the manager about this. It's happened again today! I guess they don't care if they lose customers.

I bought their Shortbread Cookies at Gelson's in Pacific Beach. I bake a great shortbread but Prager's cookies were better. Can't wait to visit the Bakery in Carlsbad after this sample of their baking.

Hidden gem of a bakery but worth the trek even if it’s on the pricier side. Great variety of pastries and whole loaves, clearly fresh and made with quality ingredients. Would be a regular if we lived locally. Sandwiches were sold out when we visited in the early afternoon so get there early for lunch!

I absolutely love Prager Brothers. We get their breads all the time, usually from the Vista farmer's market, and this location also has all of the pastries, with pizza next door to boot. Seriously elevate your bread selection by visiting for yourself.

Update review: I have been getting my breads from this bakery for years now and I'm so delighted and so grateful that they make the best and healthiest bread ever! The other day the Lady at the bakery offered me free Bagguet bread - made with sesame seeds & puppy seeds and it is delicious!! It's their new Bagguet style and it Tastes Really Good!! Thank you Prager Brothers for continuing making healthy and delicious bread for the community ???

Here's the thing about this place, you have to go earlier in the day because they run out pretty quickly of the pastries that you and I might like or want. Other than that it's great, the food is great and it's not too expensive.
