Good bread, terrible sandwiches. Nothing ruins good bread like a pre made sandwich that’s been sitting out, soggy from the spread with wilted and wet greens. Ingredients in the sandwich always seem old, nothing about it tastes fresh. Tried several different sandwiches here and each time they are like this unfortunately
I have travelled far and wide in search of sandwiches but Prager Bros is (thankfully) a local spot I keep coming back to. It's pretty much part of my home routine to order their turkey focaccia and ham baguette sandwiches -- so simple but flavorful. Their pastries and iced lattes are also worth mentioning but I am just such a fan of their sandwiches! The only downside is the service which leans towards unfriendly and rushed at times but that won't stop me from coming...
Well, after hearing so much about this place, I finally checked it out today. I'm not sure where all the hubbub is about. The prices are kind of high and the quality is on par with most other places. I feel like maybe it's for the hipsters kind of like Starbucks
