This is one of the best new pizza places in Carlsbad. It's the type of crust that you have to finish. If you like Prager brother's breads you will like this pizza.

Friendly, excellent pizza - crust is killer! sunny spot, nice views. Great for families... outdoor seating only.

Pager Brothers Pizza's Florentine White Pizza is a solid choice for takeout. The crust is nicely crispy, and the white sauce adds a good flavor. The combination of spinach, cheese, and garlic is simple yet tasty. It's a good option if you're in the mood for something different in a pizza.

Weekend List

No coffee served after 2pm due to some business reeval preventing them to push the start button after that time. Funny and sad...Pizza is ok but nothing to come again for.

You can’t order a pizza at pizza shop you have to order and wait in line at the bakery next door - you have to pick up pizza at the pizza store- no chairs inside while you wait for pizza to be prepared so I’m sitting on the floor! It is dark outside not even the parking lot light on -The pizza was good but what a very crazy experience just trying to get a pizza

Another home run for the Prager Brothers. Delicious pizzas, salads, bagels, dressings, etc. Loved the live music for the grand opening, would love to see the music thing turn into a once a month affair!

I really love the quality of ingredients and service. I had the Pizza Margherita and the Hawaiian ?. I decided to get a latte because they offer organic milk. They also have a wide array of sandwiches and pastries?. Thank you for offering a welcoming and attentive environment. ?

Got a pepperoni slice and a ginger molasses cookie from the bakery. Absolutely magnificent. Crispy thin crust! Super piping hot! Just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Yay.

once you get past the sticker shock, their pizzas are pretty good.nothing particularly special about the MARGHERITA (roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil) or the GOCHUJANG BBQ (Korean-style BBQ sauce, Beeler's ham, pineapple, red onion, mozzarella, and parmesan). both are solid artisan pizzas just not worth the expense or drive.surprisingly, given the overwhelmingly carnivorous appetites at my house, the PIZZA FLORENTINE (white pizza with roasted garlic, fresh spinach, sun dried tomatoes, shallots, mozzarella, and parmesan) was the unanimous favorite. nice balance of ingredients with strong flavors.not a huge fan of their crusts which are Neapolitan-style and kinda floppy. reheating leftovers in the air fryer helped.

Of all the places I've tried in Carlsbad, Prager's knocks it out of the park. 0 flop, crunchy and flavorful. We tried the Margarita, Cheese and Florentine. All delicious. Definitely a must if you're in the area!

So the 5 stars are for the fact that it's quality product...The amount wasn't too unsubstantial (was a good amount of pizza).. wasn't very big, but crust was thick (but airy), not too much cheese BUT that's normal in Italian style pizzas. It's on par with Buona Forchetta.Price wasn't too bad either... again on par with Buona Forchetta. I liked the taste a lot, I got the margarita and pizza Florentine..Anyone who has been to their bakery knows they aren't merely bakers.. THEY ARE ARTISTS.. and their art is effing DELICIOUS, including the pizzas!Prefer their bakeries, but definitely coming back to the pizza shop

Prager Brother's Carlsbad.Went there for lunch to give their bread another try.Ham & cheese sandwich. C+ only. Both ham and cheese were good quality, but both tasted bland. Mustard didn't help much and baguette was rather dry although flavor was decent.Chocolate croissant. Decent flavor, but lacks texture. No crunchiness at all. Deserves a "B" - a little toasting would help.Brought home a loaf of walnut raisin. My ranking of San Diego sour dough to date (price agnostic): Izola > Prager Bros > the rest, which includes O'Briens, Bread & Cie, French Oven. Decent flavor, crumb a little tight, and not enough hydration. A "B+" nonetheless. But if I add price into the equation, as well as convenience, then Prager Bros beats Izola. Will make it out to Prager Bros again for pizza. And still need to try put Wayfarer for the complete SD sour dough taste test.

This is the best pizza I’ve had in years! We had the Florentine pizza which wax fresh and delicious. The crust is fantastic! I’m from NYC and everyone says there’s nothing here as good as NY pizza, but I’ve found some!

Pizza is very good. The location is mainly catering to the office workers in the neighborhood. Hopefully they can make it work.
