How is Rudy’s only rated 4.2? My wife and I just moved here a month ago and have eaten here at least 10 times. The Cali burrito and breakfast burrito are our go-tos. Their mild roasted salsa is the best I’ve ever had.
Are the burritos absolutely life-changing, the best I’ve ever had? Maybe not. But they are damn good and very consistent.

Ordered a California on DoorDash and got home and was missing, guacamole, lettuce and fresca all which were listed. Alot of other good restaurants around here to waste almost 15 bucks on a burrito 🌯 that's short on what they claim to include.

Anytime we come out to CA this is one of our 1st stops. So fresh and delicious and big portions. Staff is very friendly. Def one the BEST taco places around.

I ordered fries they were the worse thing and soggy.
I ordered a chicken taco it was also soggy nothing crispy about it.
Unfortunately I will not be back and or recommend it!!
For the price all the burritos I ordered only one was satisfactory.
I had an 80 dollar order.

I love this taco shop! The people who work here are welcoming and efficient! The food is delicious, and for the price I don’t know what more you could ask for!
Even though it’s just a tiny taco shop, they have inside seating as well as outside seating for sunny Encinitas, and their bathroom is cleaner than the one at target lol

First time visit. I'm very picky about Mexican food. I ordered the birria Burrito. It was on point. I ate the whole thing in one setting. The only thing I would change was the distribution of rice and beans. Would recommend to a friend.
They close at 8 p.m. Do NOT order after 7:30 p.m. or your carne asada burritos meat will be from what's left over which consist of dried burnt and hard pieces. Plus no alvacado or salsa. What a waste of money and shame on the cook who would do this. This was one of our favorite taco shops, not anymore.
