We visited Same Same based on the high ratings and found it decent overall. The servers were the best part of the experience, very attentive and kind. The food was fine but didn't stand out to us, and the ambiance felt more like a dark bar setting than a traditional restaurant, which just wasn't our preference. Not a bad place, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for us.

The best carlsbad hidden gem!! the vibes, THE FOOD, the service, we had such a great date night. i ordered the simple rick cocktail and i found myself chugging it, so yum. don't sleep on the chicken satay, short rib, and samosas for small plates. the panang curry was also insane. ended the perfect meal with the thai tea tiramisu 🤤🤤🤤.
