Great burritos. I tried La Bombs the tri-tip breakfast burrito and the Grand slam. Both burritos were great and reasonably priced. The service was great. The location is a little hard to find but has plenty of parking. Give Sam's a try for a breakfast burrito served all day.

The food was absolutely fantastic. The Birria tacos were delicious, with fresh corn tortillas and very savory beef. Also got the pulled pork burrito, which I had as leftovers the next day, still exquisite. The cabbage mixed with the pulled pork was divine, tho I recommend not saving this one for later since the cabbage isn’t intended to be microwaved. Spot is clean and tidy, nothing fancy, just excellent food.

Stopped by for lunch after visiting a customer in the area. Ordered a Special on their chalkboard, a Pork Chile Verde plate. I immediately regretted this decision, because I don't live in the area, and this plate is something I would love to be able to enjoy on a regular basis. It was delicious, and served piping hot on a cold day. Definitely home style and full of flavor. The beans and rice accompanying the plate were also good, and the home made flour tortilla was so big it could have been a blanket for a small child. I had a quarter of the tortilla left over after tearing off portions for the entire meal; spreading beans on the tortilla and piling rice and chile verde drenched pork cubes on top and stuffing the whole bundle in my mouth like a savage. Before I left, knowing it would be a long time before I would be able to return to the area to visit again, I ordered a La Bomba Burrito to go. This tri-tip breakfast burrito was likewise absolutely delicious, several hours after being prepared and reheated, and I wish I was able to enjoy it fresh at the restaurant. If you haven't been here yet, please visit for a delicious meal, served by a warm and welcoming staff with impeccable customer service, with an extremely clean and tidy eating area and especially clean restroom. I wish there was a place this delicious and awesome in the LA area, but you can tell this is a one-of-a-kind local eatery destined to have a legacy and lots of loyal customers.

Came 2 days in a row because I really want to try all their items. This visit got the El Jefe. Let's just say it was a major disappointment. I bit into it and it was huge chunk of meat & not the tender meat that melts in your mouth, but the kind that spills out burrito because you can't get entire piece in your mouth. Equally huge under cooked & un seasoned red potatoes. Maybe in a bowl with beans & rice, no potatoes this dish would be tasty.I came at 8 so they had just opened. This item failed to meet the mark & glad it wasn't the first item I tried or else I wouldn't return. They're very generous with the salsa, I like the reds.

Saw a bunch of good reviews so gave it a try. I think place has a bit of inflated score because of the extremely friendly service.I tried the Carls-good burrito and it was just carls-okay. I thought the tri-tip would be an awesome addition but to me, it didnt translate well into a burrito. The tri-tip.. (an awesome cut i love), seems like was cooked whole, then sliced into small pieces and placed into the burrito. Because of that.. there weren't much seared areas of the meat, no crust or textural contrast and a bit under seasoned. I had also added sour cream to the burrito and overall it was not that flavorful. Left feeling a bit unsatisfied and unsure about coming back to try other items.

This place is a gem. Stopped in to a quaint, clean, spacious, welcoming environment. Was greeted with a smile by friendly staff who were very accommodating and offered recommendations on their food/salsa (something I always appreciate). I bought two ginormous Sunrise breakfast burritos for ~$10.50. Could have easily been breakfast for four, as half a burrito was filling. Absolutely delicious. Packed with flavor. Fresh ingredients. Homemade tortilla. Amazing. Will 100% be back and anytime I come through in the future I'm stopping here. 6/5 stars.

I can only speak for their burritos, but I do believe they've got the best ones in town. Their California burrito "Carls-good" is no doubt the best California burrito I've had. It's fresh, seasoned and cooked perfectly, and nothing comes leaking out of the sides with most other burritos. The environment could use a bit of a touch up, but the staff make up for it by being pretty friendly. Love this place and will go back again soon.
