I hosted our team holiday happy hour here on the veranda and will ABSOLUTELY be back in the future. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service impeccable, and the food and drinks were delicious. Top notch experience that we all fully enjoyed!
The food atmosphere and everything about this place was pretty darn good it was an evening dinner with three of us. One caveat to this place is there was no one outside so we didn't valet because there were no valet people and we had elderly people in our party we just parked in the parking Atleast there wasn't a charge for it...we just walked over after parking across the way but there is no one giving directions out front. The other thing was the food was great but it was very small as it is with most fancy restaurants .. so when it said it's on a bed of rice or a bed of spinach it was actually very tiny with little tiny cut up spinach within the rice. It was very Gourmet and very good but it's suffered from the small plate syndrome. The cooking was fabulous and also the wait staff is fabulous and the greeters once you're inside are fabulous and the atmosphere is fabulous and the lighting is perfect and there was live music and I would give it a 4.5 stars or 4.7 stars but I think you need to have some outside directions or valet or somebody outside to tell people where to park because that was confusing and maybe add a little tiny bit more to your plates and you'll be a five star!!

Marco is a terrific waiter. Very attentive, and engaging. Made my guest feel welcome. Food is always terrific.
We split a 7oz steak tonight. It was cooked to perfection. The ambiance is great! Everyone is friendly and says hello. The staff has been there for years.
I really expected much more from The Four Seasons Avaira. The Cobb salad was one of the worst I’ve had. Plops of lettuce and toppings that were entirely unimpressive. I was seated immediately in a booth, which I appreciated. environment was relatively quiet, which was great for my business meeting. That’s it. Again, unimpressive.

Great restaurant for date night. The food, service, drinks were top notch. Such a lovely and cozy atmosphere as well. We will be back.
We were really disappointed with the experience. We were excited to go for restaurant week but the food was not good at all. The squid was extremely salty, the shrimp was unevenly cooked, and the passion fruit topping on the panna cotta was tart and inedible. It was very disappointing as it was expensive and not good! Plus the service was mediocre for a four seasons property. My husband ordered a second drink and we didn't receive it until after we finished eating and the waiter didn't even apologize.
Lovely spot for outdoor dining. Food is good. Live music is a bit loud.

My wife and I went here for dinner to celebrate her birthday.
Overall, it was a disappointing (and costly) experience.
We knew it would be pricey but were willing to go assuming that it would be worth the price. It wasn’t.
On the positive side:
The staff that attended to us were all very attentive and nice. The HEIRLOOM TOMATO SALAD was good. Providing my wife with a free slice of pistachio mousse over chocolate cake with chocolate syrup was also a plus.
On the negative side:
We started with the ARTISAN OLIVE BREAD. It came with three spreads – none of them very interesting. The olive bread barely had any olives in it and was mediocre.
For our entree, we both ordered the WHITE TEA & LEMON SPICED HALIBUT which was touted on the menu as being their “Signature Dish”. The fish was over-cooked and not very tasty at all. It was served on a bed of plain rice – also bland with some spinach and sliced grapes. A broth was poured over the fish. The broth wasn’t very flavorful and didn't help.
We won’t be going back.

Seasons Restaurant in Carlsbad is such a hidden gem! We stopped in for their Golden Hour menu and were seriously impressed--great prices, solid portions, and everything we tried was super flavorful. The vibe is upscale but still relaxed, and the service was friendly without being overbearing. Definitely recommend the Golden Hour for a chill evening with good food and drinks without breaking the bank. We'll for sure be back!
