My wife and I went here for dinner to celebrate her birthday.
Overall, it was a disappointing (and costly) experience.
We knew it would be pricey but were willing to go assuming that it would be worth the price. It wasn’t.
On the positive side:
The staff that attended to us were all very attentive and nice. The HEIRLOOM TOMATO SALAD was good. Providing my wife with a free slice of pistachio mousse over chocolate cake with chocolate syrup was also a plus.
On the negative side:
We started with the ARTISAN OLIVE BREAD. It came with three spreads – none of them very interesting. The olive bread barely had any olives in it and was mediocre.
For our entree, we both ordered the WHITE TEA & LEMON SPICED HALIBUT which was touted on the menu as being their “Signature Dish”. The fish was over-cooked and not very tasty at all. It was served on a bed of plain rice – also bland with some spinach and sliced grapes. A broth was poured over the fish. The broth wasn’t very flavorful and didn't help.
We won’t be going back.

Seasons Restaurant in Carlsbad is such a hidden gem! We stopped in for their Golden Hour menu and were seriously impressed--great prices, solid portions, and everything we tried was super flavorful. The vibe is upscale but still relaxed, and the service was friendly without being overbearing. Definitely recommend the Golden Hour for a chill evening with good food and drinks without breaking the bank. We'll for sure be back!

For such a high end place, service is sometimes lacking just a bit.

All aspects are relatively in line with my standards. The food is good. Maybe the portion is too small for those with big appetites. I still can’t eat it. ?Photos will be uploaded when I have time. ?The rolls are good. The ice cream is also okay. The main presentation is good.

Judge for yourself. What do you think of that Steak portion? $40. I’m lucky to have eaten out a lot all around the world. That was just a silly excuse for a fair portion. We will spend our money elsewhere for a while.

A lovely place for breakfast! Went in on a Sunday morning and the place was very quiet and relatively empty. Camille was a wonderful server. Very friendly and kind and her positivity started out my day on the right foot. And everyone else I saw working all seemed very upbeat and enthusiastic too.
Prices are great, all things considered. The Aviara Sunrise is a deal. 2 eggs, 3 bacon, and potatoes for 19 bucks. Steal. Plus toast on the side is optional. Great tea and coffee selection! The complimentary mini zucchini bread was a nice touch, as was the strawberry infused water. The staff was very allergy-conscious, which was appreciated greatly. A good number of gluten-free and vegetarian options.
The restaurant is tranquil and has a luxurious feel without being pretentious. There is patio seating overlooking the pool area too.
Highly recommend. Great value and awesome staff. Easy free parking too!

Not even sure where to begin. This experience was so bad we will not be going back even though we live in the area. Extremely disappointing, considering other restaurants have been going out of their way to showcase wonderful San Diego Restaurant Week menus. Had brought two guests, including one whose birthday we had hoped to celebrate. Was an embarrassment, having chosen Seasons. Never again!
Outdoor dining was very comfortable with excellent service. Quiet atmosphere. We never had to ask for anything, it was there. Timely food service. Washrooms were luxurious and clean. Food was very good but a bit overcooked which still resulted in a 4 star experience.
Enjoyed Restaurant Week prix fix dinner. Delicious food & beautiful presentation. Nice decor & setting. Very noisy. Will eat on the patio next time unless the restaurant is less crowded
A nice restaurant near the pool. Had the sdrw lunch here. The seafood cioppino was fantastic. The seafood was tender, and the fish was crispy and juicy. The sea bass was also excellent.
4 single ladies decided to try this during Restaurant Week. Menu selection appealed to me. Asked for separate checks and was told they would do just 3. Why? Everyone liked their food - no complaint there. Service a little slow. The scent they pump in at first was pleasant but halfway thru I'm tasting it. When we went to pay, we gave her 3 credit cards and cash for the 4th. They would take only 3 payments, so one of us had to pay another. Cash counted as a payment. Don't understand this rule.
