Atmosphere is nice for a Starbucks especially after their downturn of the cafes themselves. Baristas should take a course in basic etiquette. Brothers the bananas out of me that they ask for a tip before rendering service and then that service is subpar at best.

This is the absolute worst Starbucks around. Their consistency is their inconsistency.

Teach your staff to be personable with people, or find other employees. I question why anyone with a garbage attitude would work dealing with other human beings, and, furthermore, how the heck do they get hired?!

Send your DM there and a few others and assess it for yourselves.

Also, forget about parking. Why in the heck would you choose that location for a site? It is absolutely horrific.

Thank you very much for your response, however, there is nothing additional to state that wasn't aforementioned.

Great place for a coffee after shopping in Vons.
Nice relaxing atmosphere, with chilled music playing in the background.
There's plenty of seating inside and out.
My daughter had matcha lavender cold foam, which she said was delicious, however it would have looked nicer served in a plastic glass.

Nice place. Drink was good as was the coffee cake. The coffee cake was light and fluffy. Drink was served in a paper cup, which surprised me at first. Turns out it is Carlsbad law. In any event, I actually liked the paper cup more.

This is one of the few Starbucks locations that uses the paper dome lids and the ridiculous paper straws that disintegrate halfway through an iced or blended drink. It really is ridiculous to have to drive across town to go to a “normal Starbucks” location when this one is so close to home. Getting in and out of the parking lot is always a nightmare too. Who came up with the concept for this location? Feels like they’re on the wrong end of everything

The rudest employees i have encountered in a really long time. The female at the register and the male who made my drink were not only unfriendly but just plain rude. The parking at this location is terrible as is the entrance to get into it. In addition, This location does not have plastic cups, I ordered an iced tea and they put it out in a paper cup. Will never visit this location again

Sometimes I get what I want and other times it seems like the baristas get confused.

Today I sent my fiancé to grab for me a venti caramel macchiato, non fat milk, three shots of espresso, and 2 pumps of vanilla.

I wrote it down for him and he read it out loud to the barista. That’s the only reason I know he didn’t ask for the wrong thing.

They made me a venti caramel frappe with a single shot of espresso.

Unfortunately I was on a tight schedule so I can’t go back and ask for another. This also isn’t the first time I’ve come across this issue at this particular location.

I’ll ask for drinks hot and get served cold ones. Or I ask for an extra shot only not to receive it.

The baristas themselves seem to be kind and courteous so my guess is that this is happening due to some kind of burn out on the team. Especially since it’s the holiday season. If people get too tired and overworked, these mistakes will happen more frequently. I hope Starbucks finds a way to help support these staff members as this location is a busy one.
