Great market full of local produce, flowers, honey, cheese, fish & other meat + some vendors selling prepared foods as well.

It isn't a huge farmers market in the winter, but the vendors that are there are packed with wares to sell!! A bit of variety with delicious smelling cooked food

Nice farmers market, especially the mushroom vendors. they had tons of cool fresh mushrooms, and I can't wait to make a yummy dish with them. Tge other farmers had beautiful produce as well. There are lots of shops to pop into along the street as well.I gave 4 stars as I noticed a food vendor had raw shrimp sitting in water rather than on ice, definitely not safe food handling practice.

If you're looking for a foodie's farmers market more so than a traditional farmers market, then this is your place. Yes, there are a handful of produce stands and the usual crafts, olive oils, baked goods, mail order meat services, but the Carlsbad Village Farmers Market does one thing better than most: their food tents! This is the place if you want cheap ethnic street food. The vendor lineup includes all sorts of great stuff, from traditional farms to vegan goods. Oranges, apples, avocados, lettuce, artichokes, squash, roasted nuts and nut butters, honey, fresh bee pollen, fudge, coffee, oatmeal, all sorts of organic designer mushrooms, fresh raw seafood, hummus, homemade Kefir yogurt and butter, fresh pressed juices, free range chicken and eggs, berries, herbs, artisan goat cheese, homemade pasta, and all types of cookies, pastries and breads were on offer the day we visited. There are tons of vegan options, gluten free options, low carb options, soy free and sugar free offerings too, so folks with special dietary requirements can rejoice! You will not feel left out here. Note that some of the vendors rotate each week, so check the market's website to make sure you won't miss your favorites. We made a few purchases, including fresh strawberries, a fresh green juice blend, a container of vegan nut cheese, and a miniature sugar free apple pie. Everything was yummy and perfect to snack on while driving down the road. This is a terrific place to grab lunch at any of the hot food stands too, and most of the vendors specialize in ethnic street foods (Indian, Ethiopian, Mexican, Korean, Spanish, Philippino, etc.). I purchased a small portion of freshly made paella that was delicious!Note that parking is scarce so it's better to park a few blocks over and walk. Definitely worth a stop if you enjoy street markets.

It's in a middle of the week and not too crowded. Pet friendly and also friendly people seems the regular customers and local were there. Vendors are also very friendly. Fresh food and fruits. Breads of all kind and they are good. Got some bun from House of bao.. the chicken are delish.

I miss this Farmer's Market. I miss The Mushroom Guy. This is where Bitchin' Sauce began! (Imagine my surprise finding it in Joshua Tree and then Rockford, IL!) You can go here and get everything you need for the week, minus flours for baking. Someone should get on that. Park back by Succulent. You're welcome.

Great walk every week to pick up some fruits, veggies, and some are just huge. Also vendors with eats... for dinner or maybe later. Not to forget some bakery breads and pastries

Great farmers market. Lots of fresh vegetables with a huge selection. Goodies are everywhere with fresh cooked food from many nationalities and continents. Lots of fun trying some of the food.

I come here for regional and locally sourced vegetables and fruits. Some of the freshest vegetables unless you grow your own. In addition, there are bakeries, flower stands and restaurant tents. Bring cash; only way to pay with most. Some accept Apple Cash, etc. Hopefully more will go towards a form of contactless payment. Typical food market atmosphere. Tip: If you like super delicious tomatoes and in season vegetables, the stand at the far north-west corner, is the place to go. Super nice, 5-Stars, couple at this stand and willing to answer any questions.

This farmers market gives a very exclusive feeling. As an artist and pizza maker, attending farmers markets both as a business owner vendor and shopper even before owning a farmers market-based business it just feels very stuffy. Definitely a bourgeoisie, get the tourist, get the dollar, fake friendly. Not even option to apply as a future vendor.

Awesome vendors, family and pet friendly environment! Smaller than expected but cute and not overcrowded and right by the beach to enjoy your goodies!!

Perfect place to pick up all of the ingredients for your Wednesday dinner

Great farmer's market. Wide variety of fruits and veggies combined with fish vendors, herbal vendors and a variety of other food items. Not large. In Carlsbad Village so parking is around the area. I imagine the local businesses enjoy the added foot traffic. Nice that it's a Wednesday afternoon, so it doesn't compete with the other Saturday morning markets.
