I live in Arizona and walking my found this place. To sum it up I’m addicted to this ice cream. Every time we go to San Diego I have this ice cream 2 to 3 times a day.

Absolutely amazing ice cream! I got the special flavor which was pumpkin cream cheese bread and it was delicious!! The Ube (not pictured) was a close second. The s’mores one was good as well. The best bang for your buck was the 2 1/2 scoops of different flavors. The vegan strawberry oat crumble was also yummy. I also got a waffle cone on the side and it was a bit overcooked so I would pass on it next time. The staff was accommodating and kind.

I stumbled upon this place and was happy to see they had vegan options. Their Vegan strawberry oat crumble is probably one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend and great atmosphere as well

To be upfront , I don’t like coconut based things . I also don’t like breaking into my retirement fund to pay for this price heavy cream. Their cookies were very subpar. The staff is so kind . If you’re vegan this place has many options for you . They also randomly sell pot pies . I don’t think I’ve ever said ,”who wants to go for some coconut based expensive ice cream and pot pies?!”

Highly recommend! We got 6 different flavors: pineapple fog, peach tea ,mango sticky rice, chocolate, banana chocolate, and butter pecan. You can tell what each of the flavors is on a blind taste test other than the butter pecan so I'll start with tgat one first.
Butter pecan- creamy. To me it was what I crave when I want vanilla ice cream but better.
Banana chocolate- very banana-y even in texture. SWEET, just like a ripe banana should be , but rounded flavor.
Chocolate - is chocolate. Cant go wrong.
Mango sticky rice- is exactly like the dessert but the texture is what you're paying for. It warped my mind because the flavor was so indicative of something familiar but the texture didn't match. Amazing!
Peach tea- this one was probably my favorite. My partner said it tasted like a peace tea. I've never had that but it did remind me a little like a snapple peach tea. It has a strong earthy green tea flavor but the peach is refreshing. It paired so perfectly with the cone to taste like a peach cobbler. More of a cold day/ comfy vibes.
Lastly pineapple fog- it was refreshing. Great for a summer day. TO ME, it tasted like it had guava swirled in. That part reminded me of a jumex guava drink both in texture and taste.
The workers were bubbly and helpful.
Their cones are gluten-friendly with possibility of cross contamination. The servers explained it perfectly and I took the risk. Will find out how friendly it is and update.

Saw this place from one of those food bloggers n since I live close by n love ice cream. I try their Mango sticky rice n UBE ice cream n didn't disappoint. Will definitely go back to try more flavors. FYI, this place is kinda hidden so you might not find it at first

Stella’s is fun. Perfect outdoor ice cream shop that is part of the Carlsbad Village complex of restaurants which is ideal for relaxing after a long day at the beach.
The flavors are unique. Choices are interesting, and just when you thought everything in ice cream had been invented - Stella’s is throwing a curve ball combination in there.
In the photos you will see - Smores, Peanut Butter Pecan, Ube, and Pineapple POG flavors. Kids couldn’t decide so they got all four! Even more shocking they ate the whole thing too!
