Texas de Brazil - Carlsbad

Come hungry for sure. We have been coming here for a few years. Good sign when you see the same staff. The manager always makes it a point to ask us how was our visit and thanks us for being a return customer.

The experience was great. The salad bar had so many options that I was not even able to try them all. The meats that they gave were exploding with flavor, juicy, and plentiful. Unfortunately, for me, I'm not really an all-you-can eat person because I just don't eat that much, so I couldn't take advantage of the value, but as far as flavor, the options, and the portions it was amazing. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, it had a cool ambience with a low lighting and the light music in background. The customer service was great as well, all of the servers were very friendly and informative.

Food is good as always except we found 2 stands of hair in our garlic chicken and bread basket. Otherwise, it's great

I took my 19-year-old son and his cousin here for dinner last night for his birthday and our whole experience was just superb. It was lovely ambiance and the food was phenomenal. Thank you very much

My family and I are frequent guests at Texas de Brazil and have always enjoyed our visits especially on special occasions like New Year's Eve. However, this time our experience started off on the wrong foot due to an issue with our reservation. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation, but the hostess informed us we'd need to wait about 20 minutes past our scheduled time, which we understood given how busy the night was. After waiting about 15 minutes, however, a manager (I believe her name was Janine) approached us and, in a rather condescending tone, told us that we'd be waiting even longer without giving an estimate. Her demeanor felt dismissive and unfortunately made a frustrating situation worse. Thankfully, another manager named Matthias quickly stepped in and completely turned the experience around. He showed genuine empathy and professionalism, looking for a way to seat our party even if it meant splitting us up. His approach and calm manner made all the difference. Once we were seated, the rest of the night improved significantly. Our server, Tiago, provided outstanding service despite how busy it was. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of. Both Matthias and Tiago exemplified what great hospitality looks like and truly salvaged what could have been a disappointing night. Overall, while the start of our evening was not up to the usual Texas de Brazil standards, we sincerely appreciate the efforts of Matthias and Tiago for turning things around. Their professionalism reflects the level of service we've come to expect from this restaurant and why we'll continue to come back.

Mateo and his colleagues provided a great service. The meats and cuts were wonderful, cooked to the point, and always available. Although the restaurant was very busy, everything was clean and neat - the buffet, the dining area and the bar. A great experience! We will definitely go there again soon.

Lucinda and the rest of the staff were awesome. We were there on Thanksgiving. They had over 1000 reservations that day alone however there was never anything empty and the food was outstanding.

Great experience on Thanksgiving day. Sat at the bar and the bartenders and servers nearby were very attentive and made great drink and meat recommendations. It was fun watching the bartenders in action as I used to work in the hospitality industry. They were comfortable with their craft and with each other. I will be back solely dependent on a first good impression.

We visited the Carlsbad branch of Texas de Brazil – Carlsbad and overall had a pleasant experience. The restaurant is very clean and the staff were friendly and professional—from the moment we arrived through to being seated and served. The ambience felt polished yet comfortable.

The salad bar stood out positively: it delivered exactly what one hopes for in a Brazilian-steakhouse-style set-up with a wide selection and fresh presentation.

On the downside, we found the meats to be disappointing relative to previous visits at other branches of the same chain. The meats lacked flavour, and in particular the excessive saltiness stood out. It detracted enough that we didn’t eat as much as we normally would have – which is a shame in a rodízio-style environment. Since this was our first time at this branch, it felt like a missed step compared with their other locations.

In summary: good service, clean space, and a strong salad bar make this worth visiting, but if the meat seasoning were adjusted (less salty, more flavourful) it would raise the experience significantly.

The food continues to be really delicious and the staff is very helpful and nice.
I have a wheat/ gluten allergy and our waiter gave me a tour of the salad bar and what I could and could not eat. Saved me the anxiety, thank you Johnatan!

My husband made a reservation about a week ago for our 10th year anniversary. We were seated right away when we arrived at the restaurant. Staff at the front desk were nice and were happy to be there. Our reservation was at 6:30 so it wasn't a late dinner, so not sure what our servers deal was. I’ve been to a lot of places, but I’ve never had a server like Elijah (if that was even his real name). He was seriously the most sarcastic, tone-deaf server we’ve ever dealt with. While the food was good and the meat servers were amazing, our experience with Elijah pretty much ruined the vibe.

I don’t know if it was because we didn’t order any alcoholic drinks, not everyone is caught up in this whole alcohol-normalization world? Elijah was annoyed (and not shy to show it, even rolling their eyes) when we asked them for a green/red card, like duh? We’re super low-maintenance customers and barely have any expectations, and we were still disappointed.
