Ordered the yellow curry with chicken. The curry was brown and didn’t taste like any sort of yellow curry I’ve ever had. It was good though, just not what I wanted. I wasn’t feeling well and was hoping the yellow curry would be a comfort food while I was away from home. The rice was a little tough and the chicken in the curry was still on the bone, which I personally don’t like, as it means you have a mess when trying to eat it. The girl who took my order was nice and the food was ready fast so two stars for that but if I want Thai food again, I would go somewhere else.

It’s a nice spot to spend time with family and having a good Thai food. It has many good foods on the menu. I’ve been there many times and tried most of the food on the menu is excellent. The employees are very friendly. I love this place. You can request a spice level. Must try.

Not authentic or close Pad Thai - Chicken that looks and tastes like salty black soy sauce. NOT sweet, orange color, or tamarind flavor. Portion size was large. I told my wife let me try mine first then you can order one. She was hungry so she went ahead and ordered the second one. It was the same disappointment. The kids said it tasted weird. I’m not coming back. C’mon how can you mess up Pad Thai, I can do better at home. Hopefully the owner gets their sauces right for the sake of future customers.

We stopped by for dinner to wait out the traffic before heading back home to SD. Both the drunken noodles and Thai green tea tasted delicious and authentic! Very pleased to have this amazing Thai place in the food hall. Decent value for tasty Thai food. Also, shout out to the amazing cashier and cooks! Super friendly and professional. We will definitely come back to try their other dishes!

thai-american guy here. had the pad kra prao with crispy pork belly. legit. so many mediocre thai places in food courts so this place completely surprised me, cuz this dish was so good. all the flavors were right, and texture of pork belly was like thailand. also the fried egg with brown crispy edges on top? love it. i hope this place succeeds!

Very small sample size but the Brussel sprouts were amazing and the Thai tea with boba was also delicious. Would 100% come back here just for those Brussel sprouts.

This place sucks. They clearly don't care about their customers/customer service. Kid hands me a drink dripping with liquid all around it, and she just gives me this look when I look at her like "what're you gonna do about it"
Sick of kids not taking 1 second when they make a mistake and overfill something, to wipe it down.
Whoever is the owner, get on this. Kids should know & do better.

I worked fast food for years, so I know this isn't too much to ask. People deserve better!

As a fan of Thai food for many years now, I have been hesitant to stop by Thai Style in Carlsbad. I was afraid of a "gentrified" inauthentic experience due to the location. Thankfully my worries were put to rest.I visited early in the afternoon on a Monday, not too much going on in the windmill food hall. I was greeted promptly and amicably by the employee working at the front desk named Pixel, and she helped answer all of my questions in a patient manner. She seemed to really care that I had a positive experience for my first visit.I ordered the "drunken noodle" and green tea w/boba. The food was ready in no time and had great flavor. I ordered a 6 on the spicy scale, which at most other Thai places would have me sweating, but here the food wasn't nearly as spicy. Will definitely go with 8 or 9 next time.To conclude, I think Thai style is a great introductory option for someone who is curious to try Thai food. Prices seem pretty average for a Thai restaurant. Expect to pay 20 bucks for a hearty meal.

Really tasty drunken noodles with chicken. Seriously good. Decent fresh rolls with a nice peanut that also enhanced those tasty drunken noodles. Nice to see the excellent Flipsde Burners too. Cool venue.

Dude, this is not cool! I placed two orders on Too Good To Go and they have been cancelled. I only saw the notification when I arrived to pick up the food. I was counting on it; plus I wasted time and money. If you don’t have the food available, don’t bother putting it on TGTG to mislead people.

My favorite Thai place in San Diego county, I’ve been coming here almost weekly for two years. Great service, every dish is excellent, and food is ready fast.Lots of options for dietary restrictions — they always do a great job with accommodating my seafood allergy.

Vegetarian options: Spring rolls are vegetarian and excellent.

Dietary restrictions: Always accommodates my seafood allergy without issue.

This is one of the best Thai food in Carlsbad. I love their Pad Ka Prao with ground chicken. It’s very flavorful served with jasmine rice top with fried egg. I really recommend this

$13 for pad Thai. $5 for Mexican coke. A little high imo for a single dish with nothing else. My local Thai place offers a soup AND salad with pad Thai for $11 on their lunch menu, when I was here.Took 13 minutes which also seemed excessive. The pad Thai is below average. It had about four piexes if measurable chicken, and mostly just a bunch of tidbits. The noodles were mushy and gluey, far more than normal. Just a big clump. The prices at all the places here are pretty high and above average. It's kind of a cool atmosphere but never seems busy.
