Y'all need to accept AMEX! 😃
As of today, we are proceeding with legal action against The Alley Carlsbad in small claims court, with the strong likelihood of escalating this matter to a criminal trial should further evidence support such a course of action. Given my family's long-standing legal practice in San Diego, I am well aware of the gravity of the violations at hand. The wrongful ejection of my son Aaron by security guard Jose, the establishment’s failure to protect patrons from acts of violence, and the blatant disregard for California Civil Code 51 (Unruh Civil Rights Act) and 1714 (Negligence and Premises Liability) constitute an egregious breach of legal duty. Furthermore, the demonstrable negligence of owner Mark DeRoze in failing to rectify this injustice or even extend the courtesy of a response to Aaron, as DeRoze resides directly above the establishment, is not merely unethical but legally indefensible. I, too, intend to pursue litigation against DeRoze personally for his failure to maintain a safe and non-discriminatory environment. The silence from management in the wake of law enforcement and paramedic intervention underscores a fundamental disregard for both legal and moral responsibility. It is nothing short of a dereliction of duty that DeRoze has not directly addressed this incident, and his refusal to do so is a testament to both his cowardice and his liability. He would do well to recognize that negligence and discriminatory practices carry severe legal repercussions, and I assure him that the courts will hold him to account.
Five star for the ass on the staff best cake in town !! Get the best drink and have a blast n a half with awesome djs and karaoke come see Robert and Tiffany they are always pouring you the best drinks.
Worst place security acting 2 much and don't even know what actually happened
Was in the Beautiful Coastline city of Carlsbad and thought I would drop in and grab a drink and soak in some good old Northwest County atmosphere at what I thought was a local watering hole. Discovered it was karaoke night although there were not very many patrons and I figured out right away why. The music that the karaoke host was playing in between singers made me feel like I was in South Central LA or Oakland more so than carlsbad. It's like, can we go anywhere without hearing songs about violence and drugs and hoes?
I used to go there in the late 90's and early 2000s...they had music seven nights a week and no cover...I gave the bartender a beating in the patio area after he grabbed my arm...unfortunately there were three cops outside.
Great people! Lots of fun!

Extremely crowded and overly loud. If you’re over 25 I wouldn’t go to this dirty, musty, unventilated club.
So delicious awesome sweet place to go out to eat also I do recommend it so much
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options but you need to find out yourself to find out.

One of the workers (white male with a beard) has an ego for no reason. We were having a good time, crowded of course. Tried to let him through the crowd next to the wall. got mad at my friend for no reason and kicked him out. "If you keep it up i'll kick you out" -, proceeds to tell a security guard "get him out". Probably got denied by a girl inside and let it out on him, he's awful

Security is horrible! Bartenders are the lowest ever! Super musty and humid! There’s no ventilation nor are their doors or windows open! This place sucks! Instead go to Gaslmap in SD! Also so many people get assaulted and beat up and the owner won’t provide video footage or anything! DO NOT GO THERE! It’s ghetto and unprofessional

This bar was really fun. Robert bartender helped us out and took care of us. If you're not in your twenties I would suggest going early it gets pretty crowded.

Went to the bar with friends and went to the DJ to request creed. His name was DJ Mike and he told me no one wants to hear that music. When I asked him again he waived to the bouncers to get me kicked out. Another person Asked for him to play creed and he got physical with them before getting them kicked
