This is now my favorite store, staff "always" provides excellent customer service and that is highly appreciated. The drinks are the BEST!! Coffee Bean kicks starbucks to the curb.. I wish they had many more coffee shops in the area....KUDOS TO ALL THE STAFF AT THE COFFEE BEAN & TEA IN CALRSBAD, YOU ALL ROCK 100%..Roxy

Stopped by first thing in the morning to get coffee before a road trip. My drink was made wrong twice and took so long to get that I didn't bother correcting them the second time. 20 minutes of waiting for a total of three drinks. This company is way too expensive to make such hassles for their customers.

I've been here since opening. The employees all took turns provoking me. Maggie an Hispanic female Burst into the restroom. She rudely told me I need to get out. I'm a paying customer insulted. Discrimination

This was my first time ordering from this The Coffee Bean and the Tea Leaf Cafe. I placed my online order on the Door Dash App on Saturday morning on May 20, 2023 in the early morning. I love this place! My orders was the One Ham, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich on a Brioche Bun, it’s also oven toasted, One Mixed Berries Granola Yogurt Parfait, One sliced Lemon Loaf Cake with Lemon Icing that’s oven toasted with my request. My drink was the One Caramel Iced Latte with the whipped cream topping. My total order was $25.20. That’s a good price for the order I received yesterday. Everything I enjoyed eating their delicious breakfast sandwich, the Mixed Berries Granola Yogurt Parfait was very good and healthy, the Lemon Loaf Cake with the Lemon icing , oven toasted added that extra crunchy goodness! It was so delicious! I love this Lemon Loaf Cake. And the Caramel Iced Latte Coffee was so good and I wanted to drink more of this delicious iced coffee and their breakfast food I ordered yesterday was very flavorful for my breakfast yesterday and I enjoyed every bite of this delicious meal. I will order from the Coffee Bean and The Tea Leaf Cafe again soon. I highly recommend this place. I would like to dine inside this coffee shop also soon.

I love Coffee Bean drinks, but, at this specific location, their drinks are neither bad nor really good. Also, the ambiance is really outdated and everyrhing looks old and worn down. Please get a makeover. Moreover, I miss the old team. They were extra nice and efficient. Went here lately and some of the new people seemed like they just woke up. I say this because it's not too easy communicating with them. Like I actually have to spell things out for them to get my order correct, and my order wasn't even complicated.

I just want to say, the workers at Coffee Bean deserve a raise. They’re always so kind and professional, very efficient and overall I really enjoy their service. I really enjoy this location and the staff there.

Shoutout to the barista that worked on Tuesday, March 14 morning shift.!!! Did an app order of two Carmel Lattes and they were ?. Usually coffee is a little off or too much milk but not today. Thanks.!!

At this location, Kiyoung is always awesome making our drink, friendly and helpful☕! Alyssa suggested 2 drinks! I will have to try cookie butter and dark chocolate for next time! This time I had a dark chocolate and hazelnut latte, with an extra shot! Great on this rainy day☔ Thanks CBTL! I recommend signing up with their app, you get a drink on your Bday, plus other treats too!

Fast and efficient service. Coffee was hot when I got it and just as I ordered. Croissant was warm and buttery.

It was about 8am on Monday morning. Other coffee places are jam packed with people. I noticed right when I parked in front of the establishment that it was dead. I didn’t know if they weren’t open until I walked closer and saw someone sitting inside. He was the only customer. I went in and grabbed a Hazelnut Latte and a Beyond sausage and egg sandwich. The girl asked me if I wanted it toasted/heated which I thought was weird. Why would I want it cold? No big deal.The result was a decent drink, but a sandwich that would have been better suited for the trash can. The sausage is tiny and much smaller than the bread. The bread was hard and burnt. See the pics.I thought this place is supposed to be better than Starbucks? It’s definitely not. I would possibly grab another drink from a different Coffee Bean but I definitely won’t be eating anything from there.
