We visited the Village for an early dinner but it was too cold to eat outside. Fortunately we came across The Compass. Good food, good service, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Went out for a business dinner and I couldn't have asked for better. The food was great and the service was exceptional. Ambiance definitely helped. We will absolutely be back! Definitely one of our new favorite places. Only recommendation from the whole group was to please chop the Caesar salad. (It was still great though. Lol )

Service was non-existent for us on a recent Saturday night when we went in for cocktails. After waiting for 30 minutes having been told our server would be right with us by the hostess and other waitress we finally got up and left. We were the second table to do so that night.

I decided on having my wedding afterparty here at the Compass and it was a great experience. From the time I reached out to them to book our party to the night of, the communication was great. The drinks were delicious and the guests who enjoyed the late night snacks enjoyed them a lot. Even though we were probably louder than other groups, the waitstaff and clientele were full of kindness and good vibes. We frequently visit San Diego and will definitely be back.

Cute place with good food and service. We had the truffled mushroom flatbread, the lamburger and the Mac and cheese with brisket. Delicious! Good ambiance and good service. Parking is complicated.
I went here for dinner and cocktails with a friend and was blown away! The 202 cocktail was a twist on the classic Moscow mule and the dirty fries were phenomenal. I also highly recommend the BLTA - yum! Overall great experience from the staff to the food.

Cool spot to stop by after our round of golf. They were close to closing but very accommodating and great service. Great food with lots of great flavor. Crazy fries are worth the try.
I can't get enough of their Dirty Fries! Best item on the menu. Popcorn shrimp, wings, truffle fries, all great! Food is really good.However, I am not a fan of their mixed drink menu. I have yet to find something I like. For me, it's too experimental. But if you are looking to try a new drink, this is the place for you. You'll definitely discover something new. ?

My favorite restaurant in Carlsbad!! They have the best vegan corn dogs and Kenzie is absolutely amazing. She’s our waitress every time and she’s so sweet, fun, personable, and always smiling. Great restaurant and even better staff!
