Food is fantastic, and spice levels are spot on. I believe the owner has greeted us on multiple occasions and he's extremely friendly. Great atmosphere, milkshakes, and service! Definitely will be back many times. They also have military discount which is always nice to hear of the support!

this place totally lives up to the title crunchiest chicken in san diego and alek had the best customer service ever, like you don't see that everyday hes super helpful. he even downed the price of my chicken sandwich by a dollar. my man is the top dawg no cap. man should win employee of the month every month. give this man a raise. also the food was heavily crispy full of flavor and just mwah chefs kiss and the vibe in there was "crunchy" as ever. alek is the goat read this in all caps it's not letting us do all caps it should be in all caps -the kids who asked for your name ps this is a 5th grader and i have no grammar

100/10 would come back! Probably my new favorite chicken joint in oside. Extremely crunchy chicken, friendly staff and fast service! I got the original chicken sandwich and my bf got the french toast sandwhich. Im not really a fan of a sweet salty combo type of girly, but i was surprised at how much i liked the french toast one. The original sandwich would be a classic go to if its your first time trying! :)

OMG! Wow! Just when I thought we couldn't get any more fried chicken shops, we get one more. And it's a spicy one! I love hot fried chicken. At The Red Chickz, you can choose your own level of heat: you can go "cool" (less than mild) to inferno (flaming hot). For all my chicken options, I went with their "spark" which is about a medium. It'll definitely make you sweat. Their menu has wings, tenders, shrimps, tacos and a chicken sandwich that can be paired with coleslaw, or wedges. Their cheese curds are an absolute must order! The chicken is perfectly crunchy and juicy. Ask for extra honey for the chicken sando! Perfect addition to Carlsbad. I am definitely coming back!

Really good! My son got The classic chicken sandwich bomb level, was definitely not for the faint of heart, and the crunch was on point ! Potato wedges were season well. They also have a great variety of things, something for everyone ! Also excellent customer service

First time coming here, first thing I noticed is great customer service and super friendly staff who are willing to help and serve. I ordered the 3pc tenders which were cooked to perfection, very crunchy and crispy. Overall the vibe of this place is great and I'd highly recommend the food. Their sauce is also great.

Stopped in on a Friday night. We usually go to Dave's hot chicken but wanted to try something new. The dining room is simple but tidy. They have cute hand painted signs that with funny sayings. Now to the food we ordered. Rip ordered the french toast sandwich with cheese "bonfire" heat. He had a side of coleslaw and root beer. The chicken was crunchy and juicy with heat that definitely hit. Served with maple syrup, gave it that perfect pairing of salt, sweet and spice. The coleslaw was mediocre, just your traditional coleslaw nothing spectacular. I ordered the honey butter sandwich "spark" and added cheese too. I loved how the butter slowly melted over the crisp chicken. The hot level was pretty mild. Onto the potato wedges. They were too salty for me. The shake was made with strawberry syrup not real strawberry but it was still tasty. Bottom line The chicken sandwiches are definitely the star of this show. Would come again!
