If only there were a zero star option. We wanted to like this place, a good friend of mine suggested it and it was supposedly good. We walked in and was not greeted by anyone, that was the 1st strike. The inexperienced cashier was not able to communicate the menu well. He told me my total was nearly $65, so I told him to delete that order because from my calculations it should have been closer to $40. Even after he retook my order it was $51 & some change. I was thrown off because of his inability to convey the menu of his work place, I figured maybe he's new. I was trying to be nice and took a $4 refund of at double of something I took off the order. Came to find out he had put an item on my order that was from the original order and left off an item for my child. That was strike two. We get back to our hotel and noticed there was no salsa with our food. We said it's ok we don't need it, if it's any good you won't miss it. The meat was so dry, we couldn't eat it. The rice was so bland yet overly salted, maybe all the salt killed the flavor and there was so many hard clumps in it too. Almost like they either reheated old rice or it has been sitting around all day. The beans were flavorless and not appetizing at all. So I called the restaurant back and they told me to call the customer service line. They gave me the number and I called twice no one answered. I got got here. Go anywhere but here! Chipotle is better! This place is not worth the high prices they charge. Not sure how they're getting away with this! I wouldn't even feed this food to my dog, he'd turn his nose at it!

I’m a regular at this location, whoever the man was taking orders in the drive through at 1:20PM on Saturday March 29 was very rude and in a hurry. In this hurry he got my order wrong and had an attitude

I got a Adobada burrito and it was the most disgusting burrito I’ve ever had, it was nothing but fat and worst quality meat ever, I literally had to be spitting out every bite, it was that bad. They handed me my bag to go, with no napkins, no thing, just the burrito. I had to go back and ask for all the extra stuff.

I grew up here, in Carlsbad. San Diego mexican food is worse than ever. This isnt Albertos, or Alejandros, anymore. I'm not wealthy enough to tip like 5$ with my bean and cheese burrito. They dont even melt the cheese on the bean and cheese, and the beans arent hot enough to melt the cheese even slightly. Imagine a lukewarm bean and cold cheese burrito. savage. Times have changed! Im glad I eat healthier these days even though canned tuna is getting really tired.

From Missouri where there is a big presence of Mexican eateries that are authentic. I had the adobada burrito and it was outstanding. From the flour tortillia to the exquisite pork adobo inside. Flaawless. Sauces were absolutely perfect!! Gonna miss this place.

You guys need to do something about the tortas. For the price, they are unacceptable. I payed 19$ for a torta, fries, and a drink. The fries had no salt at all. The torta was just meat, onions, lettuce, tomato, and bread. Thats it. No cheese or sour cream and it falls apart in the container before it even gets to you. And you better hurry to eat it because it will get soggy in about 5 minutes. How in the hell is 19$ an acceptable price? What delusional man is in charge of the prices? I would barely pay 10$ for this meal. Whoever owns this restaurant, go buy the torta and try it. I dare you. What an embarrassment. The only reason I even ordered the torta is because the last time I ordered the cali burrito they out stale fries in it!
