Enjoyable atmosphere with great food and great service. We recently dined here as a prebirthday celebration event for my sister’s BIG 60. Our first dinner in Carlsbad as we had travelled for a destination birthday and were visiting from Nassau Bahamas. This restaurant is highly recommended most especially the sea to plate perfectly flavoured sea bass. The restaurant joined us in celebrating my sister’s special milestone by gifting her an amazingly delicious crème brûlée, which we all enjoyed.

Made reservations online - very easy Open Table. Service was excellent. Food was devine. Large portions. Great atmosphere.

Great service and wonderful experience. Our server was very attentive and accommodated our dining needs. He presented a lovely Affogato which looked as good as it tasted…with a hint of Kailua. Definitely recommend this location if you’re in town visiting or on VaCa.

Very quiet and peaceful restaurant. Not that many customers during the busy lunchtime hours. Food was served at the perfect temperature. It was presented beautifully, especially the vegetables wrapped with eggplants’ sheets and the edible flower on the salad. Prices are high but in return, portions are relatively big. Each meal in the pictures costs $25. The host was a decent gentleman. Took one star off because the food had no seasoning and the waiters are not friendly. I understand that you could always add seasoning but sometimes foods need to get cooked with proper seasoning to taste good.

Went in first time solo. Had a drink at the bar (great Old Fashioned) then moved to a small table in the bar area with a few of the street / outside. Bar service was great. Food was very good. Reasonably priced. I'll be back!

Can’t say I’d return. Food was bland. I was expecting better tasting food for the price. BUT the #1 reason we won’t be returning is the waiter. He was creepy, no smile, not friendly at all, almost felt Ike we were inconveniencing him. Then he had the nerve to get upset with the guy who was helping to clear the table. Apparently, he didn’t do it the way the waiter wanted. The waiter, I’ve been told, has been there for years. Older, a bit stout and certainly doesn’t seem to like his job. We’re in the 50’s to 60’s in age, we know a good restaurant leaves you with a good feeling. It’s about good food and a good experience and this wasn’t it!

Just went for dessert and coffee during along walk along the beach cold breeze went in to warm up energize for the walk back service was great had asked a busboy if okay to just come in for coffee desert he went out of way to encourage us to do so cleaned a table that was more convenient for me because of being in a electric wheelchair waiter was also great and attentive despite that we were going to be a small ticket deserts were great and coffee was excellent many even 5 star restaurants can ruin a meal with bitter or old coffee after meal I don't drink a lot usually only after a rich meal to help with digestion and help fight the food and drink coma from a rich night out encouraged us to hang out as long as we wanted class act for restaurant

Came in here about two weeks ago during lunch time on a weekday.It was quiet, and calm. Perfect ambiance to enjoy the high end ambiance.When seated, I noticed the nicely organized dining area. All tables prepopulated with plates and dishes and cutlery. Very fancy.On this visit, I was attended promptly and checked on every so often to see if i needed a refill or anything really. I would hope they maintain this level of service during peak dinner hours because I definetly will be returning.I had ordered veal with seasonal vegatables. The meat was a good texture paired well with its mushroom sauce.The vegetables tastes nicely too, good texture.The martini was nice too. Huge glass!
They have a live musician- really great Italian. We had the angle hair. Large portion- great service

We enjoyed espresso martinis at the bar while waiting for our table. Very good! I am vegan and was very happy to get a penne dish with marinara sauce and vegetables. It was excellent! My husband had the salmon and said it was delicious! Our server Brandon did a wonderful job too. We are traveling or we’d be back again asap. Highly recommend!

This place is so overpriced, I was shocked and I am used to eating at fine dinning restaurants. Also, no one has a mask on and I was there in December 2021, where it is the law. The manager said it was a mandate and not a law. Are you kidding me. Clearly, she did not care at all with her horrid attitude about that and one of the dishes we ordered. The place is very pretty, but we will not be back just because of this manager and the way she felt the law was a choice. I always wear a mask, it is the law, and I have a terrible immune system, so thanks for not caring. You will pay to park. The wait can be long, even with a reservation. The service was fine, not great, but satisfactory. Some of the food was great and some pretty bad. We had veal parmigiana and it was great. We were very pleased. Our lamb was so undercooked we had to send it back twice and I like medium rare very much. I don't like raw lamb. The dessert was wonderful. Over all, we were very disappointed and won't be back,

Food was amazing! Great atmosphere and scenery. The host had such charm. Even our waiter had an outstanding attitude. Every bite of food we loved. I liked that the people didn’t force us to wear masks indoors like most resturaunts. One of the blonde tall curly hair gentleman was super sweet and even offered my dog some water (super dog friendly). I also think my daughter fell in love with him a little. 10/10, Can’t wait to come back
