What a great place for happy hour—a sunny day at a street-side table overlooking the Pacific Ocean with creative food and wonderful service by Barron. The wonderful gamberetto and crab cake dishes were then outshone by the pasta with calamari in vodka sauce. $10 wines completed a most enjoyable late afternoon in Carlsbad.

Our server Stephanie was outstanding and provided superior service from the time we arrived until we left! Our reservation was for their opening time on Father's Day and we had a table inside by the windows, definitely quieter than the outside patio. The food was served in a timely manner and the main course didn't arrive until after we finished our appetizer. As the restaurant filled up near the end of our lunch it became more difficult to maintain a conversation without raising our voices, which is normal in a crowded restaurant. We will definitely return with friends for a dinner in a few months.

Vigilucci's never fails to impress! Incredible food, amazing service, and a breathtaking view - a fantastic experience! Road noise is a bit loud when sitting outside, but that is to be expected sitting on PCH. If that's an issue for you I would recommend sitting inside their beautiful new veranda.

My wife and I had one of our first few dates here and we just had our first year wedding anniversary dinner. Our server Chris made it memorable. This will be our spot for many years to come. Thank you

Great food, fantastic service and wonderful view of the water, but $1.2k bill for 6 (3 were minors) with minimal drinks was a bit high. Our fault, but when half of what your order doesn't spell out the price, simply MP, you can get in trouble quickly. I would certainly go back but don't be shy and confirm what the price is!

My only note would be to raise the volume of the music, a lot of overlapping conversations were audible, and the music would help mask that background noise. You couldn't hear the music, and it was a little jarring. Also, it took a while before we were greeted. The servers were in the weeds at that time, and were a little flustered. We started off with one server and was passed along to another, as you could tell they couldn't handle another table.

It was delicious. Had the Caesar salad and the Chilean Sea Bass with garlic mashed potatoes and spinach. I would definitely have it again.

We had high hopes, but that didn't work out. I suppose when we saw that they sold 3 oz. glasses of wine for double digits, I got worried. Be that as it may, the dinner menu prices are high but not horribly. What was disappointing was the Spaghetti e Polpette ... I'm pretty sure they dropped a bottle of salt into the sauce :( We also had the Salmone Al Teriyaki - without the Teriyaki it would have sat on the plate. Overall, pretty disappointing and we won't be back. I have seen others who had great experiences, lucky them!

It is a favorite place for special dining when we travel to this area. Food is always very good and service excellent. Tasha explained all the tempting special entrées and the Chilean Bass with shrimp, black rice, and sautéed spinach was excellent. The risotto with large shrimp, a scallop, and mushrooms was excellent. They split salads and offer very nice presentations to each. We dined again on the leftovers...still delish!!
