It is a favorite place for special dining when we travel to this area. Food is always very good and service excellent. Tasha explained all the tempting special entrées and the Chilean Bass with shrimp, black rice, and sautéed spinach was excellent. The risotto with large shrimp, a scallop, and mushrooms was excellent. They split salads and offer very nice presentations to each. We dined again on the leftovers...still delish!!
When visiting Carlsbad, we always have dinner at Vigilucci's on Carlsbad Blvd. Food is consistently excellent. The meatballs are the best we've had anywhere. The salmon was perfectly cooked to medium with just the right carmelized outer layer. Our server last night, Andrea, has been consistently attentive and pleasant every time he's been our server (several times over the past several years). The Vigilucci's signature Vodka is excellent for a happy hour cocktail....
We came here for Easter Sunday lunch and had an all-around wonderful experience! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. We began with the Caprese Salad and Calamari—both were incredibly fresh and full of flavor, a perfect start to the meal. For our mains, we had three different pasta dishes and the veal special.
