I was here about two weeks ago and I feel guilty is that it took me this long to write the review, this place is just amazing. The food was delicious. We sat outside. They turned the heater on for us since he was a bit cold and windy .They were kind and quick very attentive and their rice pudding is so delicious. I will definitely be coming back and bringing family and friends. Also I was able to have my dog in their outdoor seating area, which is always a plus when that i can bring my fur baby.

Absolutely the tastiest Red Lentil Soup, fresh made bread, chicken kabob, salad, hummus, and rice.Price is very reasonable . Especially foe the quality of food.Layla is one of the chefs and you can taste the quality and care she puts into the meals.Make sure.you arrive hungry because the portiins are very large.Can't say enough about the service, quality of food and Layla's personal touches to the food.

Oh my goodness. Talk about traditional recipes handed down from generation. You could taste the love in the food. Fresh delicious dog friendly patio outside for your four-legged friends owners. Very welcoming lovely lady. The food was fabulous. I recommend everybody to go there and eat. It was absolutely delicious. We drove all the way from Orange county and was recommended to eat this place. I would definitely go there again. I would even drive down there from Orange county just to eat there. And if you like baba ganoush you will never have anything fresher than what they make. Tahini was fresh. Tabouli was fresh and the pita it's an old family recipe handed down from her family recipe. The freshness was absolutely wonderful baked fresh their daily and if you place an order to go they make it right there you could see them making it!??

Sometimes portions are decent, sometimes they skimp out.Every time I have gotten mediocre customer service, with them forgetting about us for 20 mins sometimes.Overall a place with great potential, but often squandered by bad management and customer service. Food is decent at least.

I ordered chicken shawarma plate and it was properly prepared and delicius! Restaurant was clean and shiny. Service was fast and i've been taken care nicly by the manager lady. This is my best restaurant in Carlsbad. And turkish baklava They serve is yummy too! My favorite is pistachio one.

I had a dinner with my girlfriend yesterday and we ordered one beef shawarma wrap and the plate. The seasoning of the shawarma amazing it was super juicy and cooked perfectly. As an apptizer, we ordered Hummus, omg even cream cheese not creamy enough if I compare w/ this delicious hummus. French fries which came with wrap was seasoned well and crispy. We found our favorite place to eat ❤️

I see this time and time again businesses forget what good service means. The ability to gain a relationship with locals takes professionalism, kindness and most of all to be accommodating. Village Kabob manager, Lila has none of these attributes, in fact she is straight up rude. She will shut this business down. She encouraged me to write a bad review based on my experience, take my advice stay with the establishments that appreciates your business. I give it one more year before the for rent sign goes in the window again.
