The server was friendly despite being Swamped. I had the veggies stir fry, and it was good
Great homestyle food with large portions at a decent price. It was great to receive meals while they still had a hot temperature.
My large, extended family was looking for a local, non-chain restaurant that would be something we couldn't get at home in Colorado for a yummy dinner while on vacation in California. The Village Kitchen and Pie Shop certainly fit the bill. There was something on the menu for the pickiest of our party of 9 people spanning ages 9-72, and the service was excellent. The portions were huge. The pie is a delicious way to cap off the meal.
We really enjoyed our lunch/dinner! Excellent chicken pot pie. Our waitress was Diane and she is top notch! Thank you so much !
My boyfriend and I went here last night and were very impressed and happy with the food and service! Our waiter Ian was absolutely AMAZING!
So kind, attentive, and friendly. We ordered the Country Morning breakfast and waffle. It was big enough for both of us to share. Will definitely come back.

Been eating here for over 20 years. Love the folks who work here. Love their food but especially the pies. When cooking for holidays always picked up our pies here. Good old home cooked food and service.
