Amazing experience. We did the chef's corner and I won't name all the names but we had so many people help us great food service atmosphere value and of course the environment is awesome.

I love to take my clients out to dinner and Ponto Lago is my favorite place to have a business dinner.

The restaurant was almost completely empty and we were a little early, but were told we would have to wait to be seated. Service was good but food was just ok. Menu was hard to understand. Doubtful we would go back or recommend to anyone.

Not what we expected. We didn't realize the restaurant was the main dining Park Hyatt hotel. No ambiance. It was clear the chef did a good job working with what he had and the presentation was good. Very family oriented, i.e., read lots of children. Not the place for a romantic dinner or the older generation to enjoy fine dining in a muted environment.

Always a good evening at Ponto Lago. The service is top notch (shout out to Devin for taking exceptional care of us) and the seafood options are superb. The whole snapper last night was under-seasoned, but beautifully cooked and presented. I love their vegetable options as well but was too full last night to order any! Next time...

Celebrated a friend's birthday last night at Ponto Lago. We had an amazing time. Ordered some fruity mocktails and then we shared appetizers--they were all great. Especially the lobster taco! Best ever and loaded with lobster...definitely get an extra tortilla as you'll need it. The grilled octopus was wonderful as was the ceviche and summer squash. We paced ourselves because the jewel of the night was yet to come. The best churros ever! They recently changed the dipping sauces from chocolate and berry to caramel and apricot. But we talked them into bringing us some chocolate sauce and had a trio of dipping sauces. Heaven!!! The servers were fabulous and attentive. We sat outside where it was quiet and beautiful. Splendid night indeed.

Second time, and I have to say, the quality and service of the restaurant remain at the highest level. Norma was excellent and could not ask for more. She made our evening magical and memorable. And bravo to the chef for one of the best meals we have experienced in San Diego.

We enjoyed the dinner. Patio is lovely. The ceviche was delicious as was the branzino. The sea bass was not as moist as last time. I would prefer it undercooked. We will go back. Alejandro is a great server. He's very knowledgeable and friendly.

The atmosphere was excellent, beautiful views and the decor was beautiful. We could actually talk to each other and be heard which was nice, usually restaurants are so noisy you cannot hear each other. We had excellent service from the time we arrived until we paid the bill. We ordered the ceviche trio and it was excellent, reminded us of being in Cabo. The paella and scallops were also excellent. It was an enjoyable evening.

Six of us attended a birthday celebration for my wife. The main courses of paella, chicken and rib eye were all perfectly prepared. The service provided by Alejandro was excellent! Good value for our 3 hour celebration, will definitely be returning.

We decided to eat outside although we were cautioned that it was very warm. The food was as usual excellent although my partner felt the Ibérico Pork was too greasy for her taste. We started with the Octopus which Perfectly COOKED. THE SIDE FUSHES IF CORN AND MUSHROOMS were BOTH EXCEELENT.

The corn masa cakes they serve at the beginning of the meal are worth the trip alone. Food was very good and service was excellent. Free valet parking in front. Very easy and comfortable dining experience. Would like to see less ala carte as far as the entrees go. Bill escalates quickly when you start adding on side dishes and appetizers.

Picked as a spontaneous dinner spot before dropping off our daughter at SDSU the next day, we enjoyed an amazing dinner, which compared to other high-end restaurants we have eaten at is very affordable and offers superior value.

We live close to the Park Hyatt. We haven't dined at Ponto Lago for 2 years because the food is too spicy for us. Thanks to our server our meals came with the sauces on the side. The swordfish was delicious as were the scallop crudo and lobster taco. We can't wait to return. The patio is lovely.
