We met with friends here and had a great experience. From the service, to the delicious dinner and more. We sat outside on the patio and it was so peaceful and relaxing. We'll definitely be back.
Overall great time at the restaurant, my dish was delicious and drinks were great. The restaurant is very loud, because the music is so loud, the restaurant carries everyone's screaming voices.
Poor acoustics. A little noisier than I would like but nice place. Served Dylan was very professional and just the right amount of familiarity.
Excellent food, excellent ambience. Felt like a homemade meal and the drinks were awesome too! Highly recommend.
You have to order all your food at once. That means bread and starters the same time as your meal. That's weird and makes zero sense. And to top it off they forgot to bring out the sides we ordered, they comped those, which was appreciated. But IMO I would rather eat appetizers prior to ordering my main meal. It was good but not for what I paid.
My wife and I went for Valentines Dinner. The food was wonderful. My wife particularly loved the mushroom pasta entree and my steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. And our server was great: attentive, knowledgeable, polite but not “in our face”. We love all the John Resnick restaurants on State Street!
Took 90 minutes just to get one small plate of fish. 45 minutes for bread. I understand it was Valentine's Day and it's busy but the service don't make up for how slow the kitchen was bringing out food. $140 for a salad, bread, mushrooms, and fish with a glass of wine. We're disappointed because we had heard such great things about this place, but after our experience last night we won't be returning.
Had a lovely Valentine's Day dinner, it was crowded as expected and we did have to wait quite a bit for our main entree. I'm glad I allowed 2 hours for dinner because we were there the full 2 hours. Everything we had was delicious and I would go back.
Went on Valentines Day. Service was painfully slow. One hour 45 to get drinks an app and a pasta dish. Had them box up our other three mains to go. Food was good though.
We enjoyed a dining experience with delicate wood fired cabbage before our meal accompanied by fresh country sourdough bread. Our dinners met our expectations with the rotisserie chicken laying in a memorable broth of sweet and savory. Dates, bacon, kale, and fingerling potatoes. Looking forward to our return.

the entire meal was excellent. friendly service across the staff. beautiful space, great vibe inside
I have had 2 very enjoyable lunches at Wildland and was excited to try it for dinner. My hubby and I went early to avoid the crowds and we sat at the tables with high top seating. Our server, Smoky was outstanding. We always had water in our glasses and staff checking on us. The thing I hadn't counted on was the ambience. There were lots of kids there - running around the tables and having a good ole time, which is great for them but not for us. We were looking for more of a dining experience. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable and we never had the feeling we could linger at all over our meal. Turning the tables seemed to be high priority. The dishes we ordered were very good except the pasta which was just too spicy to eat. They kindly removed it from our bill. The food here from my other meals was fantastic - fresh, creative, and incredible bread! My review is really meant to clarify that this is not the restaurant for a romantic dinner.
Met friends for dinner to give it a try . The bread appetizer for $7 is 3 slices of bread . Most Italian restaurants provide this . My dinner , the mushroom angoletti was a small portion and a bit salty and no other seasoning . I asked for pepper in hopes of pulling out some taste . . My friend's spaghetti and clam came in a small bowl and she said not a lot of clam . A glass of wine $24. The highlight was unexpected being the cabbage appetizer . The atmosphere does not meet the silly pricing.
My snapper was kind of nasty, lots of brown fish bits on it. ☹️ pasta was ok nothing special. It's REALLY noisy and crowded too. Don't think we'll go back.
Everything was great from service to drinks to food! Especially loved beet salad and pizza
