Where to start, the waiter who took our app order and drinks , apparently was off at a certain time and he left. We had trouble getting anyone to take our dinner order. The server was not happy and showed it. Difficult to communicate, when the food came it was not like the picture. The fried food ( on a bento box) was over cooked and dry like beef jerky. The tempura we both had on our Beto order was inedible, the zucchini had a terrible taste we both declined. The waitress blamed us like we didn’t how zucchini should taste or anything else we ordered that was not tasty and we ate none of it! The staff was rude, no one seemed to care. we paid our Bill and left hungry! We will not be back ! No manager on staff to even discuss the situation. Beware!

The food is good and the service is sub-par. The waitress took my order but forgot to put it in. No worries, I asked about it and she said it was cooking still. I got a 3 combo plate with teriyaki, double veg rolls and a crumble roll. A group of our friends came well after me and got their 3 combo plates before I did. I asked the waitress again and she said she already delivered it. But it never showed up. We all let her know that it was not delivered cause all the other had sashimi and obviously other type dishes. I told her it never showed up and if she could just please put my order in. Realizing they messed up, they put my order in. In the meantime the rest of our party was done with dinner. They tried to give us free edamame, meh. Free orange slices, meh. And some free sake, which I haven't drank in 12.5 years. Why not just comp the meal?! Kind of a bad experience for a first visit. I'm sure this may be a one off event but not owning up to the mistake is why I believe this wasn't a great experience.
