We usually come here when we visit Carmel. The food wasn’t that good this time around and they took forever to bring it. Hopefully they’ll work on it.
PLEASE AVOID - Horrible customer service the guy in the front desk is horribly rude. Beware of the guy in the picture - never experienced such sorry service anywhere in USA
These guys are the worst. We went as a family of 5 (4 adults and 1 child) around 7:50pm reached there on a Saturday evening…only 2-3 people
Inside dining, and the young Indian guy there was telling us 3-4 times ‘just before we sat down on a table’ - that they close at 9pm, and kitchen closes at 8:30pm…we acknowledged it when we entered in, which was 1 hour and 10 minutes prior to advertised 9pm closing time! But he still then kept saying same thing and we felt awkward even sitting down and we left, since he then told us ‘We normally don’t take any large groups after 8:15pm’? Lol…it was 7:50pm and was a group of 4 adults and 1 child considered ‘large’ lol. Plus we are usually quick in ordering and leaving…it’s sad - seems these guys don’t want anyone’s business…probably will go out of business one day the way they treat customers and their business hours.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful town, the surroundings are lit with flowers. The restaurant is also beautiful but the food is average. I was not surprised as they have to cater to a wide variety of people.
I would appreciate it if rice and dal were properly washed before cooking. The reason why I will not visit here again
Service was way below par. Though extra ordinary food taste compensated.
This restaurant serves real Indian food. This is not Americanized-Indian food. It was the realest Indian food I’ve had in a while. While the place was busy, the servers handled it well. This place had the proper spice level for an Indian restaurant. I ordered the Chili-Garlic Tofu with naan. They added a lot of extra vegetables and there was extra coconut rice. Tons of vegetarian and vegan options. The ambiance was great. The singer there was very talented. He knew so many instruments and his voice was amazingly soothing. Amazing restaurant!
Went in famished and came out super full and satisfied! Loved the Dal Aabha and Kale Pakoda.
Horrible experience. Was in Monterey for 1 night for Christmas and decided to check out this place. We waited 35 minutes to get seated and then it took another 20 minutes just to get menu and order food. Food was very average in taste and roti was undercooked. Heat of the place was not working and was pretty much cold the whole time, making it very uncomfortable to sit. Overall not a great service and atmosphere.

Exceptional service and food! Staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. We ordered chicken tikka, aloo gobhi and butter cilantro naan. Everything was very flavorful and delicious! We ended the meal with masala chai by the outside fire pit for the perfect end to our evening. Highly recommended!

We had always wanted to try Aabha because we smell it everytime we are at the Barnyard, and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We had the lunch buffet, and every dish was delicious. Probably the best Indian food I've had, honestly. The service was great, and I particularly love places that are sweet to my kids. Thanks so much!

$22 dollars for Butter Chicken but rice does not come with it. Very salty. Your menu should make it clear that rice does not come with the meal. Not worth the money.
