We dine there several times per year and always enjoy our meal and the fine service. I usually get a chimchanga because so few restaurants offer it, and now it's not offered here either, so only 4 stars for food today.

Excellent margaritas!!!! Service is wonderful, they're all about making sure you have everything you need. Ambiance is awesome and unique. Definitely gives a fun feel for a weekend lunch. Minus 2 stars because the food is just so-so. The chips and salsa are things on the menu. Everything else is just ok. Which is fine because I really only go for the margs and chips.

Took my son to Baja Cantina during his winter break from college. We very much enjoyed the carnitas burrito and pork quesadilla. There is a charge for chips and salsa. The server was friendly and efficient, and he refilled the chips, salsa, and my son's soda promptly when needed. I really liked the Skinny Margarita. It is somewhat dark inside, and the tables are pretty close together. Overall, our experience was positive.

Large restaurant, busy and bustling. Food is great, service is beyond helpful, and their drinks hit the right spot.

I ordered chicken enchiladas, four tiny pieces of chicken and all green peppers and onions. Four dinners and all mediocre. Very dissatisfying. The food was forgettable. We usually go to Jose's in Seaside but didn't want to drive. Never again.

There's no better post hike place in Carmel than Baja Cantina. They offer stuff drinks to help quench your thirst and giant plates to get you full. The servers are quick with the chip refills and their chips are top notch. They put a special seasoning on them that puts them above your run of the mill restaurant chip. There is something for everyone on the menu. On the latest visit we were starved and shared a giant plate of carnitas nachos. At $16 with a couple beers we got in and out (and full!) for less than $30. I also highly recommend the Cattlesman burrito, blackened burrito and the Chile Verde.

Fun atmosphere especially if you are a gear head. Lots of car centric decorations to make the gear head feel at home. Food and service was good. We were a party of 8 on a Saturday night and service was better than expected given the size of our group and on a busy night.

Sweet spot for a nice hot bowl of chicken tortilla soup on a rainy day. They do not skimp on the chicken or veggies and the portion size was ample.I'll be back to try more menu items!
