I ordered the brisket w/coleslaw. It was unassuming and small. However, that was misleading. It ended up being plenty of food and was quite tasty. I would add a side or chips if I were a more hearty eater. It's a bit pricy... sorry.

All in all, I would grab my lunch there when in their neck of the woods.

Found this place on a Sunday drive out to Carmel valley, stopped by to grab sandwiches and was pleasantly surprised at the bbq sandwich options. Being from GA we were skeptical but gave them a try. Holy cow!!! My husband had the Tri-Tip sandwich and I had the Muther Clucker (love the name) pictures speak for themselves, the chicken was massive on my sandwich, perfectly moist, sauce was on point and it went great with our wine! Highly recommend! Will be back!

Place is very expensive in my opinion. Foods good but not worth the cost. Crazy the burger or sandwiches dont come with any sides. Basket of fries costs $7 and its basically enough fries for only one person.

Very unhelpful when we ordered. No sorry we’re out was the common response. Options on shat they did have would have been appreciated. As in previous comments food arrived ‘ to go’ at the table. Why even ask her or to go if there is no difference? Unlikely I’ll be back. Too many better choices. Sorry

OMG! We rate hamburgers against Ireland as they are the platinum standard, BEAR AND FLAG hamburgers are a very close second! Simply amazing! If you’re in the mood for something special, go to BEAR AND FLAG!

One of the coolest things about this place, is all the unique beers they serve. Pliny the elder, saison DuPont, discretion brewing, etc. the food is also top tier.

Needed a quick bite for lunch after hiking point lobos…and was taken aback by their homemade artichoke veggie “burger” on sourdough. SO good!

Great little sandwich shop. I've never had an Oak smoked tri-tip sandwich on Chibatta before. Very tasty and large.

Idk - sometimes you go somewhere and don't feel welcomed, so then your senses become heightened by the freezer burn and lack of cleanliness. Wish I could say I'd give this another chance, but these don't seem like the type of folks that would give me one. Peace!
