The lunch I had at Pebble Beach yesterday cost less than this strip mall sandwich.
Just paid $50 for two sandwiches and French fries at Breadsong, ordered from a self service kiosk, which also asked for a tip.
These sandwiches were good, but not that good.

Went there for lunch today for the first time. We ordered the Boratta bowl and bag of bread with the grilled cheese and soup. The bread was on the minimal side and the grilled cheese sandwich looked it was for a kids meal along with a cup of soup.
The biggest issue was the service we had one one particular asian girl. We asked for a booth which we waited for as it was being cleaned. It was partially cleaned and when asked to clean it again, we got an attitude. We picked up our food and weren't told where to get cutlery or napkins or water cups. Had to go to the counter and ask and got a bit of attitude again from the same person who just pointed in the direction to get them. I asked for empty cups and just got one so I reached over the counter and took one myself. Will not be going back there.

Just don't buy bread bag to go from this place. They promise you 4-5 slices for $4.50, which would be OK if you got a nice fresh bread. Instead we got slices that mainly had air holes and leftovers from the previous day. See the attached pictures.

My sandwich looked like they slapped the ingredients on blindfolded. Half the sandwich was meat, the other half was the vegetables and sauce. Only one piece of the bread was toasted. The duck fat fries were soggy and tasted worse than most fast food places.

When you spend $40 on a sandwich and fries you expect at least the quality and attention to detail you would get at Subway for $6 foot long.

I don’t anticipate Breadsong being in business long if this is the quality people receive. I wish they invested less in the giant automatic ordering machines and more time teaching their employees how to make a sandwich.

Went there and they had 10 loaves in the window. I asked if the bread in the window was sourdough and the answer was yes. Great, may I please try it for salt content. They gladly gave me a sample and it was amazing. I’ll take a loaf please. Oh, I’m sorry you have to wait until 3 and I can’t guarantee sale. Wasn’t going to wait an hour so I noticed her making a sandwich with a baguette and asked for one of those and was told they don’t sell those at all. Took a look at the sandwich menu and sandwiches were $20. Felt I needed to let people know you might want to avoid and don’t get sucked in by the pretty loafes of bread in the window.

A little bewildering at first given the self service front end, but good sandwiches and soups. Had to knock the food down a bit as the roast beef was the fattiest ever experienced - had to toss most of it. But the chicken Parm sandwich was terrific, as was the tomato soup. Oh, and the service staff were super friendly.

We always always come here whenever we're in town, and everything is always delicious. Sandwiches, duck fat donuts, coffee; we have never had anything bad. Do not miss out!

Breadsong has a lot of different options from sandwiches to pastries. We stopped in for lunch because their interesting sign caught our eyes. They have counter ordering or kiosk ordering. We ordered two sandwiches and a diet coke. The sandwiches were served with no sides and the drink was served in a very small glass. The sandwiches were pretty good, but the price is insane. Two sandwiches and a small drink ~$50.

I recently had lunch here and ordered a Cobb salad. Unfortunately, the lettuce seemed unwashed and had visible dirt and even bugs in it. I politely brought it to their attention without asking for a refund, but the staff were defensive and handled the situation quite rudely. I would not recommend ordering anything with lettuce from this place.

We stopped in for a sandwich and a cocktail after noticing the liquor bottles behind the bar. After ordering at the kiosk, we sat at the bar, only to find out they no longer serve cocktails beyond canned drinks, which they did apologize for.

The setup is self-serve: we grabbed our own water, napkins, and utensils, and had to follow up on our canned cocktail order (which we had to place through our phones).

The turkey sandwich was awesome. The Caesar salad was okay. I was curious if the donut was served warm, but the space isn’t really set up to invite questions or interaction, so we left for Reba’s. It felt more like the service I experience when I travel to Australia (all electronic and no human connection), so we tipped accordingly. Rating this spot high since they hit the sandwich out of the park.

We’ve eaten here for breakfast (yesterday) and lunch (today) and we would come back for dinner tonight if they were open. It’s that good.

Breakfast sandwiches were the best we’ve ever had. The eggs were so creamy and silky. The duck fat donuts are mouth watering. Lavender latte was amazing.

Lunch - I got the burnt ends sandwich, my husband got the wagyu banh mi and my son got chicken fingers and fries. Everything was AMAZING. Fries are thin, fried in duck fat and so good. Chicken fingers have an added sprinkle of salt after they come out of the fryer. Both sandwiches were undoubtedly the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. And of course we got 2 more duck fat donuts.

Worth the price, 100% - they use quality ingredients and *almost* everything is made in house, including all the bread. A MUST if you’re in the area.
