We had a very nice meal at Casanova. Charming restaurant walkable from most hotels in Carmel. The cannelloni was fabulous! Id say the salad with romaine lettuce & shaved parmesan was pretty mediocre for $19.00. That in particular seemed like an odd price for 5 pieces of romaine with a little parmesan on top. I felt taken advantage of there. The rest of the meal was pretty good.

It's been a while since we have eaten here as we used to go to lunch whenever we were in town but hadn't been since they stopped serving lunch. We were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and very accomadating and the food was excellent.

We were finishing up meal when the waitress came by to ask if we needed anything. The sommelier never came by to ask how we liked the he chose for us. Definitely go there if you are looking for a casual expensive dining experience. Best meal we had in Carmel over 4 nights

Wonderful food and fun environment. Only downfall was that we were seated at indoor courtyard at table right next to wine bar. It's clearly an added table but it's a busy area there with all waitstaff and drinks being made ..maybe not worth having this table here.

There were 4 of us - 3 of us got our dinner delivered on time and the food was good . However,they totally forget my wife's dinner . Thus 3 of us were served and although we tried to eat very slowly, we finished and still no meal was served for my wife . Very very disappointing! Then as a buffer they tried to offer only 1 small glass of cheap prosecco as a pay back . We spent over $650 for e meals and a $250 wine and yet got basically no meaningful “ condolences “ or any type of “ Sorry “ ..., Will not be going back !

We have been going to Casanova for 40 years and have never been disappointed. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary this week at Casanova. The service and hospitality were amazing from the hostess to the sommelier to the server. They accommodated us with our table of choice, suggested lovely champagne, wines and entrees. And, did I mention the fabulous dessert? It was a special evening at our special place. Thank you Casanova!
