Our go to place in Carmel by the Sea. Food is consistently great and the staff are amazing.
The Dametra Cafe is our favorite spot for dinner in Carmel. The Mediterranean food menu is outstanding; and no matter what selection, every morsel is delicious. The service is prompt, warm, friendly and attentive. And the added component of wonderful live guitar, beats and singing that spontaneously appears at least once during a seating is so much fun!!
Dametra Café was probably one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. The food was outstanding; we already knew going in that it was going to be amazing. But the live music, the patrons' participation, and the musicians getting everyone involved made it truly, TRULY special. Isaac, our server, was so kind, engaging, and incredibly personable. He went above and beyond. The owner even came around and introduced himself to make sure we were having a wonderful time and that our food was on point! We can't wait to go back! My 3-year-old absolutely enjoyed it!
The food and the service were out of this world. Amazing atmosphere. 110% would recommend here for dinner. About $35-50/person for dinner with one starter. There was live music around 6pm. Make sure to reserve a table. Gets packed at rush hour.
