The experience we had was exactly what you want. Excellent food, nice people and a wanting to go back. Plus, the Flaming Cheese Saganaki was so much fun to watch and even better to eat!

We had a great time, servers were very attentive. There were four of us 3 out of the 4 had great meals, one of us thought their meal was good. It is very loud and hard to have a conversation

Lot's of fun with the live minstrels. Food very tasty. Service excellent. Decor authentic.

The food is very traditional. It melts in your mouth. It's a little crammed with tables that a close yet there's a fresh breeze coming from the ocean.

The food and service here is the best as always. The Lamb and Paella were amazing, and the servers wine recommendation was spot on.

We've been to this restaurant many times over the years and have always recommended it to people going to Carmel. This time we felt rushed and it didn't quite seem the same. Although the staff was nice enough, it seemed to have been missing its charm and the welcoming spirit we've always enjoyed so much in the past. It could have been the time of day we went, 4:15 that made it feel that way.

The food was delicious! We got the combo appetizer plate and the combo main dish to share, which were both awesome! Great sampling of some of their specialities. The tables were very close together and it was warm & stuffy in there, but they kindly opened a window when we asked. The service was a bit slow, but the ambiance was fun (minus the loud drum they beat multiple times during the birthday song) and the food was delicious. I would eat here again. I recommend getting a window table for good people-watching.

It was a decent experience however the waiter never checked back in with us. The food was decent but we ask if the paella was shareable. The waiter replied it was served for only one person which after it came out; definitely serves 2 people. Not sure if we would come back. The table was small especially after ordering multiple dishes. Place felt tight and crammed. Definitely tourist centralized! Try the clam chowder though.

The food was absolutely incredible. We were merely passing through and want to go back since yesterday! The service was perfect! Be sure to make a reservation!!

Amazing Greek/Italian Food. We loved the vibe and service and of course the generous portions of food!

Disappointed. TripAdvisor listed the restaurant as #2 in Carmel and live, laugh, love as the motto of the restaurant . We did not feel any of that . No music. The wait staff was fine , but robotic and it felt rushed . The atmosphere was nice and the halibut was good.

Dinner was fabulous. Lamb chops were excellent, as was the halibut. Baba ganoush for an appetizer was very good. Nice wine list, no hard alcohol 😞 Service was impeccable. Kudos to our waiter Ivan. Very personable, professional, and attentive. Fun atmosphere. Tables may be a little crowded.

A great location for lunch with sidewalk views reminiscent of European charm with attentive agreeable waiters and the lamb shish-kebab was perfect at medium rare very delicious I'd even say outstanding.
