Great menu with flank steak, sand dabs, mkt fish of the day, pastas, burgers and lots of good starters. Very reasonable prices. TVs to watch the game. Love it.
Service was attentive and friendly. Food was outstanding -- the sand dabs and the salmon entres were delicious, as was the brussels sprouts appetizer. We will be back. Really enjoyed,
While the new Chef hasn't put his own menu in place, the execution of the existing menu was fantastic!
Lunch on a nice day on the patio of Edgar's is always a reminder about how lucky we are to live here. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. There is an excellent variety of choices on the menu. My only suggestion for the Cobb Salad was that there could have been a tad more chicken, hard boiled egg, and bacon. There was almost a whole avocado so it could ave been called an avocado salad!
This restaurant is really pretty overlooking the driving range. Ample TV's to watch sports at the bar which is really nice. Food was solid and priced right. I'd go back for their delicious flatbreads. Service though was cold and unfriendly. Bare minimum effort.
They were out of several things on the menu including the daily special. This was announced in a loud and testy voice by our server who was so bad she could be parodied on SNL. The food was fair, but I'm not sure I would go here again.
The service was good, but nothing outstanding. The food was mediocre. The street tacos were very basic, and the carne asada meat was extremely chewy. I could not easily consume my taco with my hands, but rather had to cut the meat up.
Good and service were good. Live music was way too loud making it difficult to talk to someone directly across a small table.
One of the best restaurants on the Peninsula where you can find a broad variety of very good dishes for a sane price and it is in a very relaxing and scenic spot on a gofcourse.
You could throw all the old reviews since new management made massive positive changes to this old faithful. The new menu is great with good choices for everyone. They have specials on the weekends. The new chef upgraded the food so you feel like you are getting good food at a fair price. The atmosphere is sports golf casual. The staff are welcoming and on a super busy night it could get a little slow but they always make you feel good. After a few times, the bartender remembers your drinks so you feel at home. Even the GM comes around on some nights and is shaking people's hand. We come here mostly for the dinners but a lunch on a nice day out on the patio is beautiful. I highly suggest this place for locals that wanted the old Edgar's of pre-covid to come back. I think most tourist go to the sister restaurant at the Hotel, Covey's.

We hadn't been here in quite some time so decided to try it. I couldn't decide what to order but got the gnocchi. It was okay but I wouldn't order it again. The Brussels sprouts were good and my husband's penne bolognese also good. I'd probably go back for lunch but not dinner.
What a beautiful property. My husband and I ate outside overlooking the lush green golf course. Their were no other people outside dining just us. The music was 60's easy rock and just the right sound level. Our waiter was very kind and attentive. My husband had the burger and fries and I had a bowl of clam chowder and both were very good. We will definitely revisit this little hidden gem in Carmel
We live in Quail and are so very happy to once again have Edgars open for dinner. The food is outstandingly prepared and the menu delivers great value. For us it was so much fun to see many friends and neighbors here. Service is upbeat and attentive and when the restaurant is busy it's not fair to expect 15 minute turnaround times, enjoy a cocktail/mocktail or wine, an appetizer and be patient for great food. Our chef is outstanding!
Had the Flat iron steak and it was very tender and good. They substituted another vegetable instead of potatoes. I appreciated that!
Quail Lodge have reopened their restaurant called Edgars for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Meant to be casual, lively and relaxed, the food was outstanding. The service was spot on and they had live music with a guitar player. What a great local find for a great dinner over any weekend.
