Sadly disappointed. Had not been here in 20 years and was looking forward to their amazing cookie dessert. Unfortunately, its no longer an actual cookie, rather something more like a Duncan Hines Betty Croker cake with chocolate chip cookie flavoring. Maybe our memory is bad, but it used to be the most delicious and gooey cookie. The rest of dinner was OK, not great, not terrible. Hate to write a negative review, but felt it was necessary.

Great atmosphere. Bartender was great and kind, cocktails were delicious. Food was sub par, stringy rib meat was disappointing. Server was kind but messed up both of our orders so that was a little disappointing as well.

The atmosphere outside is really spectacular. They also have plenty of heat lamps for cold nights that help keep customers warm. The food was good, if a bit pricey, but that’s what you get when you travel to Carmel. They also have a secret dog menu for your canine companions. Our dog loved her chicken entree and we brought some of her kibble from home to mix in. It worked out really well!As far as human food, my wife and I ordered from the Italian section of the menu and were satisfied with their flavors and portions. Overall a pleasant experience.

The owner is a friend of mine. I love the Forge ANYWAY. Used to wait tables in a 5 Star LA Steak House. The Forge is BETTER. Take that $$ you were going to throw down at Clint's and go into Carmel Proper. Go to Forge in the (Cooper have you marriaged me yet?) Forest. Support local dining talent. Then tell your friends.

Great service and a fantastic atmosphere on a rainy night. A crackling fire and generous wine pour made for a cozy evening.

Cute spot and dog friendly patio that's very large. Delicious fried chicken, very moist and crispy. Pork ribs very tender, fall off the bones. French onion soup was good too. Jordi was a great server, very attentive and pleasant.

I ordered the carbonara and it tastes as good as it looks. Adding this place to your itinerary you won’t regret.

What a great experience! It was to stop here for our dog's birthday and treat him to a meal off the dog menu. We seated in the outdoor patio which had great ambiance. The lighting was very nice being slightly dim and the area was heated by gas, fire pits and gas powered heaters. Even though it was raining, it was still such a pleasant meal. We stayed dry on the patio and our dog loved his food. It was a great stop on our dog Marley's birthday. We stopped by on our side cart electric bike rented from mad dogs bicycle shop down the street. Thank you!
