We stopped in Carmel for the night and decided to have something to eat at Little Napoli never having been here before. My wife and I love Italian food and this place was by far some of the best Italian food we’ve ever tasted. Their garlic bread was outstanding and their chicken parmesan was out of this world. Service was on point and the atmosphere was even better!!! Will come again next time we are around.

We came to Bar Napoli for a private event. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere is awesome-so cozy and such an authentic Italian vibe. The food was fabulous! I lost my glasses the evening I was at the event and Claire (she is so special) went above and beyond to help me find them! You wont be disapointed!

In Carmel for Car/Auto Week and walked up without a reservation on Thursday PM about 5 PM and got seated quick. Outdoors in the breezeway area. Really nice place and our waitress Kelly was on the ball. Love it when a table of guests give the waitress the order and she writes nothing down - that I admire and she was on it. Appetizers and drinks were great and the food/main dishes even better - a really nice place and reasonably priced.

This is an iconic Carmel restaurant and often when they are iconic they are disappointing. It's very popular but it's not very good. It's a very inconsistent restaurant. We have come her for 20 years and sometimes it's good and other times it disappoints.
It now disappoints because they have increased their prices and lowered the quality of the food. It's very cramped and loud and the last straw was they rushed us in and out in less than 45 minutes.
Little Napoli has that charming, old-world Italian vibe -- warm lighting, cozy decor, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger over wine and good conversation. It's right in the heart of town, so it's popular -- we waited about 20-25 minutes for a table, but it was worth it once we sat down. Service was warm, attentive, and well-paced, with our server checking in just enough without hovering.
Truffle Gnocchi: Pillowy-soft gnocchi in a rich, aromatic truffle cream sauce -- decadent and comforting.
Margherita Pizza: Thin crust with a nice chew, fresh mozzarella, bright tomato sauce, and fragrant basil -- simple done right.
San Vito Pizza: Savory and hearty, topped generously with house Italian sausage and bell peppers for a great salty-fresh balance.
Cannelloni Tricolore: Rich and flavorful with a satisfying mix of fillings, baked to perfection under a blanket of sauce and cheese.
Overall: A cozy, welcoming spot with delicious Italian comfort food, attentive service, and a lively, inviting atmosphere -- worth the wait if you're in Monterey.

It's a wonderful restaurant. We had an amazing dinner here. The service was great. The Ragū bolognese was delicious Pizza was good, but the absolute best dish was the cheese Ravoli it was great. My daughter ordered it and i got to have one. I loved my pasta but I was a little bummed I didn't order the Ravoli. Overall great experience. I highly recommend.
