Mission Ranch Restaurant

I ate breakfast by myself. I asked for the check and they said my card was declined. I checked my bank app and they charged me $47.87 for a meal that cost $18.50. Then they said my card declined. They refused to acknowledge their obvious mistake and said just to wait 24 hours. They are thieves and liars.

The views are incredible and you can decide to sit outside or in the restaurant. Great menu, great ambiance. Also, if you just want to grab a drink, you may want to do so on the counter that surrounds a piano while the piano player is performing, it will create an unforgettable memory for sure. Since they don't take reservations at this restaurant, plan to be there ahead of the rush and you will surely be accommodated. The views are SPECTACULAR, now go out and create your own memory.

Beautiful place to have a delicious dinner with wonderful drinks, quality ingredients, and attentive staff. Piano music at night is a lovely touch. Don’t worry about getting cold at night-plenty of heaters for outdoor seating.

The restaurant has beautiful views inside and outside , very good service . Normal food not as tasty as compared to other restaurants in the area and local price.

Been here many times and have enjoyed the food and the views. My previous review was a four star rating while the service still remain decent. The food has gone down quality and taste. Today we decided to go for the grazing menu and our favorite beef ribs were served barely warm with a very vinegar sour barbecue sauce. The ribs tasted old. I always knew that these are the leftovers from the prime rib that they serve for dinner, but I expected it to at least be grilled and reheated with some decent barbecue sauce. We didn’t get our drink drinks for a long time probably waited a half hour to see our drinks. The table next to us got dive bombed by seagulls.

Went in the afternoon and stayed for dinner. Food was okay. This is probably the only restaurant in Carmel-by-the-sea with a view, since all other restaurants are in the downtown area. Host was inflexible: once seated there is no moving. That was disappointing so we never went back again.

I'd rather eat cold leftovers from here than fresh cooked from the next three restaurants we tried.

We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and had such a great experience. Eggs were huge and the sausage was hearty and delicious. Loved the home fried potatoes and thick cut bacon as well. Coffee was good and had a cup of cocoa too. Great breakfast!

We followed the flames and stumbled across a wonderful restaurant! Our food and service was great! The patio was super cozy. Next time we will stay on site and enjoy all the amenities.
