Mulligan Public House

Our experience at Mulligan Public House this weekend was incredibly disappointing due to the behavior of one of the bartenders. The dark-haired female bartender was shockingly rude and easily one of the worst service experiences we’ve ever had. She snapped at my friend for taking a few seconds to decide on a shot, then ignored another friend at the bar for over 10 minutes while chatting and taking shots with a group of male customers. When my friend finally placed her order and mentioned the wait, the bartender responded with, “If there’s attitude, the drink will take longer.” When my friend pointed out she’d been drinking with customers instead of working, the bartender poured the drinks out in front of her. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. We won’t be returning. Mulligan’s, you need to seriously address this kind of behavior.

We were visiting from Colorado and Mark literally was a great part of our trip. We had such a fun time here. Would highly recommend.

A woman was overdosing on some kind of opiate at one of the tables, and I told one of the bartenders and she clearly didn’t care and just let it happen. Even served her food while she was moaning and convulsing in the corner. Unbelievable.

We originally chose to sit outside on the patio, however, there were lots of bugs so we decided to move inside. I ordered a Bloody Mary which was very good with all the fixings needed. I also got their fried chicken and mashed potatoes which were so good! The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and cooked, one of the best I've ever had. The service was fast and attentive despite the lunch crowd walking in.

Overpriced hole in the wall. Bartenders only cater to their friends and won’t even come to the table to get an order with 5 people in the bar. Weird smell. Left after ten mins of waiting for them to stop talking.

My husband and I loved the food and drinks and fantastic service, we even bought some of their own brand of hot sauce too. Lovely place with a warm welcoming atmosphere.

I always love to have a drink and enjoy the atmosphere at Mulligan when I'm in Carmel. They bring service with a smile and they have a wide selection of beers.

My go to spot downtown, great all around place for a casual Carmel dining experience. The patio is a nice hidden spot. Their French dip is my favorite and rivals that of Phillippe's in downtown Los Angeles! Highly recommend!

This bar will have you feeling like you're somewhere other than Carmel. Like a pub. But you're in Carmel. Good times and later hours than most other options.
