My wife and I stopped here while on vacation. We got the Guinness Glazed Peanuts and the house-made Parmesan Chips, as we were just snacking before dinner reservations. Holy cow were these good! The bartender (maybe the owner, we didn’t get his name) was so nice too. He made us feel welcome and at home, and made us some killer drinks! I wish we lived local, as we’d probably come in a lot. The next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely be stopping by again! Such a cool little spot!

When we were planning our wedding in Carmel, we needed a place for our afterparty—a spot where friends could keep the celebration going into the night. O'Callaghan's turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s open until 2 AM and conveniently located just across the parking lot from our hotel. It ended up being a great gathering spot not only for our wedding afterparty but also for our welcome dinner guests who weren't involved in the early morning activities!

Guinness was properly poured, the shot glasses were plentiful, and the DJ was spot-on, playing all the hits we were hoping for. We had an absolute blast.

Although the kitchen closed by 10 PM, the staff were super chill about outside food. We grabbed pizza downstairs and brought it back, and they even provided hot water for our late-night ramen favors.

A big thanks to the team at O'Callaghan’s for being such a big part of our wedding weekend!

As a local for 30 years I've seen this place have its ups and downs well it's definitely onthe up. Went there last night with a group of eight and everybody had different plates and everything was amazing. Shepherds pie was delicious. live music good vibe

Been wanting to go here for a long time. I usually go to barnyard a lot. Very quiet place. I went before 5:00 on a Friday.

Very clean place and inviting. It's upstairs and options for a wheelchair access might be limited. I walked up the stairs from the parking lot.

I got the Guinness on tap which is a plus and the Fish and chips. 3 pieces of fish, smaller portions but I was very content with the quality of the food and they had Seasoned french fries.

A very upscale pub for adults.

I would definitely recommend it for people who want a nice, comfy environment.

Parking: There's a lot of free parking but I definitely park on the side by the restaurant. You have to walk upstairs. If you're going to have a wheelchair, I'd probably go from the other end.

My Mom and i stopped by here for a quick bite on our way to Big Sur as the reviews made our mouths water. Let me tell you this place is as delicious as it sounds and then some!

We ordered fish and chips plus the apple coleslaw, which was the perfect crunch and tang. We will definitely make this our regular spot and can't wait to try the shepherd’s pie!

Everything was perfect! Exactly what we were looking for!

Fish and chips was mostly bread and soggy fries. $21 bucks down the drain. Tossed the food after two bites. Maybe a bad day? Bartender was great tho.

Delightfully delicious bangers and mash.

This is a must try dish!

Only wish we were in the area longer so we could try the shepherds pie.
