Robata Grill & Sake Bar is a Japanese restaurant that has undergone various changes over the years, now under new ownership. The food is excellent and always good, with a good wine list and an extensive sake selection. The ambiance is lovely, clean, and calming, suitable for a quiet Japanese-style dinner, whether inside or outside. Service is good and really friendly, though staffing can be a little light during busy hours, making things slow. The new owner, Josiah, is kind, attentive, and totally on it, even when the restaurant is jammed. While prices have risen, Robata’s remains extremely reliable and a longtime favorite for sushi and more. Many customers plan to return, though some hope prices will come back down.
