Wonderful wine and a small tasting room "off the beaten path." The owner is a composer and has written music for countless Hollywood blockbuster movies. The atmosphere of the tasting room is weird though because they play his music. It's good, but super weird to be listening the Superhero epic music while tasting wine. The girl who helped me was awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. The music would be SUPER fun to play as a "name that tune" game, but odd to just be playing in the background. They also show you a written biography... that doesn't include how he got into the wine making business; which is funny. I'd still go back, but definitely odd.

Tracked down this tasting room after having a glass of their Chardonnay at a local restaurant. Great tasting with a cool story! We ended up joining the wine club as it is an incredible deal and you cannot find their wines outside of the local restaurants. Service was very knowledgeable and friendly- I believe her name was Daniella? We are excited to receive our first shipment! All of their wines were very good!

We stopped in on a whim last week after lunch. Let me start by saying I had no idea Silvestri was Alan Silvestri, composer/conductor of way too many famous movie and television scores to list. As former musicians, my husband and I found this so interesting. It certainly explained the music choice and movie posters, both paper and digital, on display. Had Fransisco not told us the story, we would have never known the connection because we were so drawn in on the quality of the wines we were tasting! Fransisco did a wonderful job of leading us through the tasting, even offering a few extra tastes (an additional chardonnay, rose as well as a pinot noir he happened to have open). The tasting consisted of a pinot gris, the Bella Sandra chardonnay, a Pinot Noir, the Red Ranger syrah and the barbera in addition to the three extra pours I mentioned previously. All the wines were great, but a couple really stood out and went home with us. First the Bella Sandra chardonnay - my husband does not like chardonnay, but I convinced him to taste (he was going to skip). This chardonnay is wonderful with a soft and luscious mouthfeel, lovely flavors of melon and pear and not the slightest bit of tartness. The other standout for us was the barbera. This was definitely our kind of red - rich with flavors of black cherry and plum. Suffice it to say we absolutely enjoyed our visit and will stop by again. My only regret is they are not licensed to offer wine by the glass. Many thanks to Fransisco for a lovely experience!

I tried Silvestri's famous pinot about 4 years ago and loved it, so I had higher expectations. This was the worst wine tasting I've ever had, and I have never been wine tasting where all 7/7 wines were disappointing. Every single wine tasted watered down and extremely young. Not much flavor, extremely light, and maybe even less alcohol content. I'm so sad because I entirely hyped this wine up for my friends. I tried both award-winning pinot noirs, hoping to catch a great wine on or off the flight menu. Still, even their best pinot tasted watered down. No one cared for a single one of their wines - red, white, or rosé. The venue is small and mediocre. There were two small tables up top and there are NO bathrooms inside. They don't offer water or a place to sit. Scheid and Caraccioli Cellars are WAY better! I'd say Scheid is my favorite. 2 stars only for the nice gal working up front at around 2:30pm on 3/11/22, Fri afternoon. She was really easy to talk to and super cool.

Just my favorite!! For me there's not a single wine that I will say I didn't like it. It goes from their Pino Gris to their Barbera, it's absolutely fantastic their wine, plus Silvestri is one of the best composer of all times, if you are also fan of movies as you are of wines you should go for a wine tasting at Silvestri. I am a member for sure ;)

After brunch in Carmel a group of us ladies ended up here to try the delicious wine. As you enter the small tasting room you are greeted by movie soundtracks. Alan Silvestri has created many many soundtracks for many movies. Too many to mention here in a Yelp review for wine. Go to the tasting room and read the list for yourself. Now, the wine. WOW, Francisco, the general manager treated us extremely well. We tasted 6 wines that were all so good! I ended up purchasing an outstanding red. A 2018 barbera. Forgive me, I drink wine, I know good wine, but that is all I can remember, lol. And all else I can remember is this is a must stop tasting room Very small and intimate. Worth trying for a find. Centrally located and within distance of downtown Carmel. Excellent times!

Stopped in with my husband and shortly thereafter another couple came in. The room is small but quaint and XuHang (spelling might be off) was very nice. Her explanations as we tasted each wine were thorough. We enjoyed the wines and became club members. It was a great experience for us.

6/21 me and my friend visited this place. We were walking around and finally end-up going there and it was 11min to close the store. Still - the person (not sure the name) she was good to us and served some tasty wine and finally we end-up grabbing Barbera (I am fan of it) Wonderful experience, and good meet-up bonus :-) Would love to go back, If I am in the area. Very Friendly Staffs.

Cute wine tasting stop during our trip! For $15 you get to taste 4 wines. No bubbles, but you do get a variety of 2 white/rose and 2 reds so it is a good mix for most crowds. Definitely an easy-going feel here. They have a Barbera wine which is rare for the area, so it was great to try it out! The owner of this winery (Alan Silvestri) is also a famous film score composer, so if you enjoy music and movies I would recommend stopping here! Great wine, cute outdoor seating, and great customer service when explaining the wines to us. Great price for what you're getting!

The hostess decided to give our reservation to people that arrived later than us for no reason, who had a reservation for the same time. The hostess then told us to find another place.

Danielle was our sommelier( to be ) : she was able to show all the nuances of the wines that were from 2017 .We started with Pinot Blanc ( my favorite) , Chardonnay with good body and lightness , rose', Pinot noir and Shiraz ( my husband's favorite) . Danielle gave us suggestions on the hot restaurant in Carmel by the Sea and Monterey that we immediately checked and we were really pleased of the choice 5 stars for the wine 5 stars for the ambience ( elegant clean well manicured) 5 stars for Danielle

Good wines and interesting history of the owner. A nice break and rest to get off your feet from walking Carmel. Small tasting room, some tasty wines, a little pretentious.
