Starbucks doing its thing.
A nice place to go if you’re too lazy to find a local coffee shop. As I was on a road trip that’s what I did.
The people who work here are very snobby and don’t appear to put the customers first. I had a horrible experience walking in and honestly it wasn’t what we expected coming into a facility who promotes unity and respect. I thought Starbucks had higher standards for employees. They could at least smile more and not be so petty. Keep the change. Wont be coming back. Will gladly drive to Dutch bros down the valley next time.

I had a terrible experience at this Starbucks. I placed a mobile order for a pistachio latte, but when I arrived, my drink wasn’t even in a cup—it was just left in a mixing container with a sticker on it. When I asked for a venti cup, the barista had the audacity to lecture me not to ask for one in-store, completely ignoring the fact that she never even served my drink properly.
What made this even worse was the way I was treated compared to other customers. I noticed the barista greeted and interacted politely with others, but when it came to me, there was no greeting, no acknowledgment—just rude and dismissive behavior. It really felt like I was being treated differently because of who I am.
This is unacceptable customer service, and I won’t be coming back. Starbucks needs to do better.
Rude staff. Had to wait in line again to get half and half because customers aren’t trusted to add cream or sugar to their own drinks. Will not return. No wonder Starbucks is falling.
It's a bit busy, but atmosphere is nice and comfortable setting.
The power was out yesterday. Why are you closed today? The entire shopping center is open. I dont get it. Not giving low stars because I frequently visit and like the people there.. but why are you closed all day today, on a Sunday during the holiday months? I just drove by and saw like a dozen cars park within 10 seconds and upset people scratching their head the same way I am.
This is the best Starbucks that I have ever visited.

The decor was beautiful. I love the setup. However, my experience from a customer service perspective left a lot to be desired. I was rushed, and my drink was made incorrectly. We were going back home from Big Sur, and I was tired from not being able to.sleep.the night before tired, and all I could think of was my cold brew and it fell flat as did my husband's coffee. I . that was there. I decided to let it just let it go.

The place is very dirty making Carmel a tourist town look bad.

I personally frequent this Starbucks multiple times a week. Everyone is very friendly except for the young man named “Christian”. He does not seem to be having a good day any time he is at work. Blank stare, no expression, just rude. I asked him “may I please have a straw” and he slapped it in front of me without saying a word. It makes want to go somewhere else when I see he is working.
