Best Sushi restaurant in Carmel on the Sea, so good we went on two different occasions in the same week. I would recommend the combination rolls especially the Jessica Albacore!

Cute place that we happened to find in Carmel when in town. We walked in and saw all the photos and were greeted by super nice people and decided to try. Wow, the quality of sushi and portions were really generous and good. We got 2 rolls and a sashimi platter, and it was plenty of food. The sashimi was fresh and really good fish. The rolls were delicious and well made, plus big portions. Def happy with out meal, it was great. Would recommend

The service was decent â the staff were polite and got our orders right, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the ambience really brought the whole experience down. The place felt cramped and noisy, with poor lighting and uncomfortable seating. It just didnât have a welcoming or relaxing atmosphere, which made it hard to enjoy the meal.
Not a terrible experience, but definitely not one Iâd rush to repeat.

Exceptional service - not my favorite quality of fish. Some felt off in texture and smell. Kuddos to the lovely staff, but I left wishing for a more premium experience at this price.

For the most part fresh, descent sushi for this area. Service is good and the space is cozy and warmâŠbut it boggles my mind that good sushi canât come with good miso soupâso expensive for a tiny portion and absolutely no taste whatsoeverâwatery, one piece of seaweed, no scallions, nothingâIâve never had such bad miso in my life.

I ordered pick up online through their website and it took about 20 minutes longer than estimated time provided. Ok, thatâs understandable , they had a busy Monday evening. However, our rolls were literally falling apart at the seems, the rice was falling off of it. It just seemed like everything was made in a rush and handed over to us. We were bummed since I know that this is not the way the dine in experience is.
